As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Although I have to admit I am torn between if a protest should happen or not. Granted we did spend in the transfer market, but that doesn't forgive the fact Wenger has been appalling the last few years and it till took an 8-2 defeat for something to happen.
At the most Wenger has given himself till January. At the least we should see how we perform against Swansea and in the CL. Because if this new team fails to get down to business then we need to make our voices heard and fast.

I admire the BSM for taking some positive action but I don't quite get the message.
What does "Forward?" mean?
If the BSM want people to go to their website it needs more content and clarity on what they stand for. Plus everything in Black and yellow is hard to read.
Any protest before January has to focus on the greed of the board. i.e transfer profit and the 6% rise.
Our hire of a billboard opposite Emirates Stadium has created an expected stir amongst fans.
We acknowledge that some last-minute signings were made recently, but the sale of two key players, our poor start to the season and constant feet dragging in this summer's transfer window has left the majority of loyal fans no more optimistic about our chances this coming campaign. The club have made a big deal of the motto 'Forward' but we feel that the activity since the shambolic end to last season has been very much the opposite. That view has been shared by many fans, and it prompted the headline of our billboard artwork.
Make no mistake, we still have questions to ask of the Board in how the club is being run and how loyal Arsenal fans are being treated. In that respect, our campaign will continue unabated.
However, at this time the team needs all the support it can get - just like it did recently with the oustanding, passionate support at Old Trafford. Because of this, we feel that this coming weekend is not the time for large scale protests and will not be organising any form of demonstration. Our billboard shows that we are still here and asking questions of the Board and will continue to campaign for loyal Arsenal fans, but for now we feel that all Arsenal supporters need to show support of our team and welcome our new players in what will be an important month for the club.

I cant make the Swansea game this weekend but after browsing several forums and twitter, facebook etc Im yet to come across one person who has nailed their colours to the mast and said a) they will be at the protest (if any such thing is even happening) and b) what they are protesting for.
I concur with many sentiments here, that the signings were all very last minute, but at least they've been done. We havent seen the 'new' team play yet and now the windows closed thats the team we're stuck with until January, so what good is a protest now? Seems pretty futile to me and destined to fail.
Also as a foot note, if their is a "silent majority" who are dissatisfied why wern't these protests happening in June when your actions could have possibly altered the outcome of the transfer window, and even have possibly unseated Wenger if they were vocal enough.
We are just about to kick off our 4th game into a new season and any shananigans like this protest , if it does indeed attract anyone will in my eyes only have a negitive impact upon an already shocking start to the season.

Because Gazadis admitted at the AST meeting in June that mistakes had been made and changes were afoot, players would be leaving and players arriving. There was no need to ram it home as he'd already stated we could expect changes. . . how many of us held out hope for a Cahill-like signing on the last day?
I agree fully with the statement from the BSM. Now is not the time for protests, possibly if we had signed nobody at all it would have been needed , but 5 new players regardless of how we rate them , we need to give them a chance welcome them and support etc.
I doubt they would feel great if there was protest for their first appearance regardless if its about them.
There is no rush, there will be plenty of opportunity for protests this season.
Looks like I'm in the minority here as I'm all for protesting at the way the Club is being run. It seems perverse to me that the worse the team / Board / management team perform, the more we encourage them. We wouldn't put up with that in any other industry.
And to say we need to get behind them now more than ever - well I suppose we do but we did that at Old Trafford and they lost 8-2. What more can we do????
Even if you are still unhappy with Wenger, lets at least show the players our support, at least sigings were made and we need to see if they will improve our lot. The next few games will shape howthe fans react. I might think Wenger is still a deluded twat but I will back the players at this stage.
