Classless as usual
Scamming the fans classlessly of 6.5% isn't enough apparently...absolute disgrace, utterly heartless crudeness. Oh but I forgot, this must come under our umbrella of 'self sustainability'.
This club's soul died when it left Highbury in 2006. Shocking what it's become, a monolithic Disneyland corporate orgy of ruthless fuckery.

Exactly digger - my understanding is that its origins come from a Naval store, then used as a weapons store.digger wrote:"Arsenal" is a word, not a brand. An Arsenal is a storage of weaponry. The spanish for an "Arsenal" is... "Arsenal" (as it is in most languages deriving from Latin).kiwomya wrote:It's corporate business. Happens every day my friend!woolwichgooner wrote:Utter disgrace
This smacks of burecrats employed by the club trying to justify their position.
I love seeing Bars and Roads in different countries named Arsenal(e) shame on those responsible

Kiwomya, your rush to defend the indefensible just goes to show what a numpty you are. So far up Wenger and the board's arse you are incapable of independent thought. 'Happens every day'? What kind of a fucking defence is that? Serious assault is also a part and parcel of societal disorder and happens every day - does that make it acceptable then?

I think Arsenal have gone about this right way. Our lawyers should take a tip from yours as they've been after the horror writer Bram Stoker for years but without success. These two in question are making loadsamoney on the back of our great clubs name and We can't have people taking the piss. Rant over, bye,

Exactly how I feel

I just cannot associate with our new modern club as it is so different to the club I grew up loving

Over the last few seasons of apathy, mismanagement and under performing my belief and love of this team has died but my love of the club never wavered. Sad to say that conduct like this has affected me more than on pitch fiasco's and if this is the way this club is going to conduct itself in the future then this is not a club I would want to be associated with

Fucking hell, ridiculous. Probably the most ridiculous football related lawsuit since Victoria Beckham tried to force Peterborough to stop being called "the posh" despite the fact they were known as posh since before she was fucking born. And it doesnt happen every day- major companies/ corporations (which is sadly what PL clubs are nowadays) will always take such steps to prevent others from cashing in on their name, but in this case it isnt the same name and its not as if what the shop is selling could be "confused" with a football club, hence the person isnt profiting from AFC's "brand" and people arent buying things there thinking its the official Arsenal shop so there really is no cause for the action. Football clubs have become far too big for their own boots
