It would be daft not to go if you already have a ST.

I gave mine up but still have access to a Silver. I currently have no intention to buy any tickets whilst AW is in denial.

Everyone can see where it has gone wrong except him. If the board are really holding him back then I think he should walk rather than drive himself into an early grave.

Gary Cahill looks poor as well. Glad we didn't waste money on him. Mertesacker will prove to be far better.

I wish we signed Benzema when he was out of favor at Madrid :(

Went exactly the way I expected today.

We were always going to labour to a win, if we were to win. Confidence looks shot to pieces even with a couple of new signings in. But it was a win and it could inspire enough to see an upturn in performance levels.

Probably not enough to start pushing seriously up the league.

Regarding Ramsey, I don't know what it is, he may not be playing stellar but he seems to be the only one who looks like he fucking wants to. With better more interested players around him he could really shine.

But I think he's fucked with what is around him right now.

Phil Jones played against Utd last season when they lost 7-0 and the man he was marking got 5 goals is he bad?

I don't get what AW is talking about
I think we started quite well but slowly the nerves took over
Sure we got a tonking at OT but we expected to lose but today we were playing at home against a newly promoted side that shouldn't be a big threat.

We have a couple of new signings that should help lift the team. There was enough quality on the pitch for a comfortable win.

AW should have given them the belief that they should win. Squirming in the dugout sends the wrong message. FFS man up and take control.

I was at the game today and he was our best player on pitch overall.

Arsenal were even money to win by more than one goal today. That's Arsenal FC of the champions league at home against newly promoted Swansea City. 3/4 years ago the best price you would have gotten on that would be 1/4. The bookies don't get it wrong, we're shit and everyone knows it.

Why are you bringing Jones into it? I watched the game and Cahill was terrible. Looks no better than Kos. He's 25 as well, not a promising kid with potential like Jones was while he was getting battered with Blackburn.

After United a win is a win, thought Mertersacker and Arteta did well, Mertersacker got in some good tackles.

Walcott and Gibbs are fucking shit, can't keep making excuses for them, both are Championship at best.

Scezceny, top man.

Disappointing today, I went into the game trying to back the players but even if the new signigns need time to settle todays peformance shows nothing has changed at all, Arteta, Mertesacker and Szczęsny played well, the latter easily being the man of the match.

I said to my mate early on in the game that we would only get a scrappy and lucky goal at this rate, add to the lack of tactical cohesion, same shakyness in defense and not being threatening in attack. Essentially we are just going to be battling for any points we can muster if we can't overcome Swansea. Really Wenger has untill the end of the month to show that we can be a challenge, but I'm not confident, think fans need to start speaking up at matches now.

Wenger can not take this club further, that was evident with his subs, like for like, fresh leg substitutions, no tactical thinking.

We hung on for fuck sake.

Been in a while from the game and been reading this
thread taking in your views on todays events.
As most of you on here were watching via streams it
can sometimes be difficult to get a sense of everything
thats going on on the pitch, and although I won't argue
with the general concencus that we were piss poor and
were fortunate to pick up 3 pts,I feel that I tend to disagree
with some of the comments made about Aaron Ramsey.

Now I won't say that he is the finished article by a long way
but what I will say is that the boy has ability, drive and desire,
all the atributes that a lot of his teamates so clearly lack.
Granted he did make a massive balls up of that break away
towards the end of the game, but there were many other times
in the game when we broke at goal he was busting a gut to
support Van Persie and the final ball let him down.

Yet again it all smacks of placing far too much pressure
on young shoulders, and I know some will say if you're good
enough you're old enough and I agree with that, but lets
not forget he suffered a carrer threatening injury and the
fact he's out there at all speaks volumes about the lad.

Sorry to spout off but felt I had to stick up for him.

Mate, Jack was younger, he held his own, Ramsey is poor, let's not dress it up.
