Arsenal fear loss of Mathieu Flamini

Post by demzy »

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.j ... ini127.xml

The Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini may leave the Emirates Stadium to join Juventus in the summer.

Flamini's contract expires at the end of the season and, according to a report in the Daily Star, his advisors have rebuffed Arsenal's attempts to hold contract talks since the turn of the year.

That has led Arsenal to conclude that he may have already accepted an offer from Juventus, with whom Flamini has been linked all season

--------------
If flamini does go, who would you like to see him replaced with, assuming wenger will bring someone in.

I reckon van der vaart would be a good aquisition, wouldnt be too expensive, a good player, and a mate of rvp.

Not true. I can probably put my right nut on that he'll stay!

London Lite also covered it. Whether that adds to the credibility of the story or not.
