I used to love the Pins, but the staff there seem terminally miserable these days - not the sort of gratitude you expect for turning up and making their pub a mini goldmine when it's probably totally empty for six days out of sevenpaperclip wrote:Alright lads,
I know this has probably been asked before but I wasn't able to find any old threads. I was just wondering if people knew of any pubs that show the 3pm kick offs? I usually go to the Pins but am a bit sick of the place so would like to find somewhere else.
I'd appreciate anyone posting pubs for me, or any links to old threads would be great too.
Cheers

Dunno reg, there has to be some kind of flaw in the law a lot of these pubs know about, the one I mentioned has big advertisements, and often a list of all the games on show outside the pub. On a main busy road and about 500 meters up from the cop shop (on the same road).Reg Niseth wrote:Is it really wise to post the names of pubs showing illegal games? Wouldn't it be better to simply send a pm.
The Wig used to show them, but didn't on Saturday. I still managed to see it on the manor but there's no way I'm posting it on here. Good drink with good lads.
Although not sure if it would be the police who inforce these types of things, trading standards?
But they have bo fear of advertising it on show for the whole world to see, so they must be confident they either wont get caught, or think they're doing no wrong.
