See how he took on defenders, didn't hesitate to shoot and didn't rely on passing the ball? Wenger would never sign him :banghead:

Wow- what a player this kid is going to be. In that clip hes already shown better finishing ability than Walcott has in his entire career for us.

£25-£30m is looking like a very good price for this guy- absolute quality play by any standards and hes only 20.

WHY DID WE NOT SIGN HIM UP? - In the words of the Godfather make him and Lille an offer they cant refuse.

Cracking player. Whether or not Lille would have let him and Gervinho go in the same window is a non-issue, who Wenger should have signed given the choice however is...

i'm not sure holding a gun to someone's head is the best way to agree a transfer you know....

but yeah, we all know hazard was the star for lille, we've known he is quality for a couple of years now. it's like looking at man city and thinking 'well they did well, that silva kid was alright last year.. but milner played for them too and he's cheaper, lets buy that one' :banghead:

gotze? hazard? mata? nope... we got arteta :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

A well-informed journo over here (Belgium) is mates with Gilles Grimandi who told him that Hazard is Wenger's dream signing and that he is Arsenal-bound!

And that is what it will remain,a dream. He would cost £25m Wenger will never spend that much on anyone. And it would kill Walnutt's career :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

If we could get shot of the fat, lazy Russian oompah-loompah for a few quid I'm sure we could make up the difference for Hazard.
Him on one wing and Gervinho on the other??? Pace, skill, score goals ????? I'm sure I remember seeing such players in an Arsenal shirt once .......... many years ago.

I think a deal is pretty much in place for Hazard possibly in January. We've got a lot of money held back, and rumours in france were that Lille would have let him go if we hadn't waited so bloody long to make a move :banghead: :banghead:

But the only reason I think a move might be in place is that he hasn't been snapped up already by Real/Barce.

Arsenal will be interested and bid. Hazard will consider. Then a proper big club will come by and also bid. Arsenal will run away with their tail between their legs regardless of how much or little they're outbid by.

And when push comes to shove, our 7 years without a trophy doesn't help our negotiating position, even if we do somehow manage to find the money.

25mil? try 35+mil. his contract runs until 2015. he's already sought after by every club top club in europe, and after a year in champions league the whole world will know his name. in 2010 hazard said he'd prefer a move to arsenal, which in response wenger said he would "look at him" over this past transfer window, but missed his chance messing about over gervinho. His connections with zidane will lead him to madrid.
