A prayer for my old man...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A prayer for my old man...

Post by DB10GOONER »

Hi lads (and laddesses),

I won't be on here for a few days as my dad passed away late last night. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer only last Friday. Thankfully he didn't suffer much and he passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by family.

He always encouraged us in everything we did and he was the one that pushed me towards the Arsenal when I was a kid. So if any of you guys are religious (don't mind what flavour) maybe take a minute and just say a little prayer for my old man.

A Gooner gone to the great THOF in the sky...
