any tips on Dortmund?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

From my experience; I never had to produce an ID, just showing my membership card was OK.
But only the person who ordered the tickets (you in this case) can collect them for himself or anybody else. ie assigned tickets purchased on his own account.

But what if the person who used my account has the confirmation email?

I don't believe this. Arsenal have always allowed people to purchase European away games for others.

For Italian games, where you are supposed to show ID on the way into the ground, they even set something up where you had to detail who would be using the tickets. This wasn't to prevent you buying them for someone else, it was just so that the right persons name was on the ticket so it could be checked on entry.

But that wasn't for this time around, so they can hardly assume that everyone who bought tickets is going.

Batflyer - as you are going anyway then I guess it won't matter one way or the other - providing you take your card with you.

Yeah that's true. I told the guy who bought a ticket on my account that he could collect it with the confirmation email I sent him. But if they won't let him do it, I will be around anyway to collect the ticket.

But they didn't go on GS did they? I mean I had to assign the other two to other members, or could I have assigned multiple tickets to myself? Didn't try that actually.

Do they only sell alcohol-free beer in the concourse on European nights?

Sadly so I believe, don't fall for that old trick! I made the mistake in the Camp Nou and plenty of louts were buying them in Sofia last Friday night. Damn UEFA.

Unfortunately yes. You will need to buy alcoholics before/after the game in the city.
