Lansbury signs contract extension with Club

I for one am happy, think he's done well in the few games he's played and obviously loves a goal against the scum :D

I'm content with this.

Lansbury looks useful. He's young, he's a grafter, he's got good skill and isn't shot shy. We've had worse at the club.

awesome. I think this loan spell for him will do what wilsheres at bolton did for him. The lad looks mustard and I for one cant wait until next season to see that British core of Wilshere, ramsey, AOC, walcott, lansbury and frimpong (ok Ghanain).

moist just thinking about it. ha ha ha

we're doing the right thing with lansbury, for a change.

send the kid on loan, let him get some experience, and if he comes back ready for first team football, then great. if not, sell him.

that's much better than giving the likes of jenkinson and frimpong a lot of first team minutes to make costly mistakes for the team which in no way will benefit their careers.

youngsters should be brought in slowly, and be given experience elsewhere. it worked with jack and so many other players. tossing inexperienced players into the side will help no one.

Good footballer, would have liked to have seen him at a Prem club this year, but hey ho. Glad the club see something in him.

The longer his contract the greater his sell on fee.

i don't know exactly but I do know it's a fair bit more than a lot of Prem clubs were willing to cover for a loan deal this season.

I can only assume it's been neg'd up with this latest contract, otherwise what would be the incentive for him to sign?

Maybe an assurance of a chance next year if he does well? Also boys like him and Jack have been at Arsenal for years, they probably feel something for the club.

I'm so disillusioned with footballers these days that this didn't even cross my mind! LOL
