Ok, if you use the URL button for google it shows
[.url]http://www.google.co.uk/[./url]
Instead of this, insert a =http://www.google.co.uk/ after the url but in front of the ]
after the ] then type the short cut you want for example (and please omit the full stops!) google
[.url=http://www.google.co.uk/]google[./url]
does this help?![]()

By the way, what's the URL button for google and where do I find it?

Better still, instead of the google example, show me how it would be done linking with another article.

Right - post the link and the shortcut name you want to use and I'll type it out for you but
You need to teach me how to post photos!

This is what you wanna do Hlebby.
Sexy link if you hover your mouse over the words below:
IHH Click here
Then
This is a normal link using the URL button top right when you make a post
http://www.talktofrank.com/drugs.aspx?id=172
If you quote my post you should see how the two links are slightly different.
Clear as mud now?

Essentially you are replacing the web address with your shortcut but adding an =(plus actual url) after the url

And we'll just call the information in the link an intervention.
