This is exactly what you get for years of neglect and penny pinching from Arsenal FC....

You pay peanuts you get monkeys !

clockender1 wrote:Poor individual defending, but we got beat by two own goals and one offside goal, not a bad team performance - arshavin. Rvp, Theo, Arteta, gervinho all played well.

We missed a few good chances at the end too, and it's not the first time we've been done by cloggers from the northwest.

Amid the hysteria, don't forget that chaps.
True re the defending, but surely a defence is and always has been a 'team or joint' effort....it's different for the forwards / strikers as their individuality CAN change a game, but for Djourou to do what he did cost us the game...he is UTTER Shyte...i think Eboue would have done better...yes he's THAT Bad....

And of course Wenger must take the both the responsibilty and the blame...if I was a shyte prem player but was being offered £40k a week to play...I still grab the money and do my best...alas Djourou's best is SHITE!

For £6/£7 mill we could have signed Dann - it was he who stopped Gerv from scoring a dead cert and stopped walcott on that break away down the right......

Let's see :hmmthink: Errrrrm Djourouwank or Dann 6' 6" and knows how to tackle and block

I wanna see how wenger squirms out of this.....to loose to a scumlowlife team like blackburn....it beggars belief....twice we took the lead and feckin' TOTALLY BLOW IT!!!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

well unlike the yank...we can plan for the transfer window, he would bring DD back, and at worst would probably better than djourou at right back!

Its quite funny how our great manager spoke about us adopting zonal marking to defend against set pieces and how it had worked so far this season and we end up conceeding from set pieces today.

If man to man marking on corners and set pieces isnt working for you, you work on it hard in training. You train to bust a gut to ensure no matter what happens your man doesnt score. Zonal marking is a catastrophe for players who have no positional sense and sense of responsbility. It tells you how fucking clueless Wenger is when it comes to defending. How can we blame his players to be any better. We could have signed Vidic and Fedinand and still we will conceede these type of goals.

I dont know if the post match comments posted by kimonya are real, but how long are we going to blame the 8-2 debacle for our failures this season? Its the manager's duty to instill confidence in the players and to make the 8-2 a catalyst to perform better. "Lads never fucking again".
This team is in the image of its manager .

Could also give the manager of the decade the bullet and get in a top notch manager with immediate effect

I posted them earlier. From BBC:
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger after his side's 4-3 defeat by Blackburn: "We had so many chances in the game and on top of that we scored two own goals so it is unbelievable to understand, but we have to take it on the chin. At the moment defensively we are fragile because our confidence is gone due what happened at Old Trafford."

if only it was that simple, the bloke just like kronke is only there to line he's own pockets, the fat russian would do no more if he was in charge, if he wanted to buy Arsenal and turn us in to one of europe's elite he could of done, but just like kronke he faffed around buying the odd share, and the odd share there, and now Kronke has him by the bollocks
