REDNOSE...THE BIG MOUTH

Post by SPUDMASHER »

I posted a thread yesterday about rednose trying to get Saha to tap-up Karim Benzema on his behalf as they are friends. I questioned whether this was technically an illegal approach. Today the BBC report that several papers are carrying the story,
"Lyon have accused Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson of scandalous behaviour in trying to unsettle their £45m-rated striker Karim Benzema after making public his interest in him".
I know this goes on all the time on the quiet but it just shows the arrogance of that gum-chewing *word censored* that he has done this in the public domain.

Surely the FA and UEFA have to act on this? Or will they sweep it under the carpet because of who it is? It's high time somebody bought that *word censored* down a peg. :x

To be honest i dont think he would want to go to them, he has said anyway that england is his third choice behind spain and italy.

On a slightly seperate note - Rednose was in Dublin yesterday to present some award or other and of course every media outlet in the country was tripping over themselves to get soundbites from the gobshite.

Heard him on one station saying to give time to the new Ireland boss - "... it doesnt matter whether its Capello, Ferguson, Trappatoni - every manager needs time ..." etc, etc . (Or along those lines anyhow)

Jesus he's an arrogant prick to put himself in the same sentence as those 2 ..... He was within a gnats testicle of being sacked himself in his second season from what i recall, only for Mark Robbins (i think ) to save his job.

I find rednose trying to get Saha to convince Benzema rather strange. Wasnt Saha himself offered as a part of the transfer? I feel if no other big club from Spain or Italy tries to get him in the summer, he will end up at the manscum.

And to be fair i dont think its that much of a travesty to put red nose in the same sentence as Capello and Trappatoni.

I think the problem was he put himself in with those 2

I dont neccessarily think it was that arrogant. A certain Mourinho would have said he was better than them all lol. However expecting oppostion fans to not take the mickey out of him, when almost all premier league managers have to go through that, just cause he is Sir Alex Ferguson is arrogant    (hey i did a Hlebby there)

I dont think Mourinho would even compare himself to anyone else, and in a funny way i respect that - even though hes an arrogant toss too.

Red Nose though is a different animal altogether. Capello and Trapatoni have proven themselves by each winning titles in various countries with 5 different clubs - none of them in Scotland i might add.

Fact is that Red Nose is lucky to be at a club where he has had unlimited resources to buy watever he wants rather than having to develop wat he has - this has been the case from the day he walked in the door there.

Again i say about how close he was to the door out in his early days - even though everyone and their granny in old trafford would now deny that was ever the case, but it was common knowledge at the time that he was gone if he had lost that cup tie.

If he were at any other club and make so many poor transfer dealings he'd be long down the Job Centre.

He has been a complete and utter failure in Europe, given the resources they have - he fluked a CL when the opposition thought it was all over.

I dunno - maybe the bloke just winds me up to much ....... wonder am i related to Kevin Keegan ......
