There is a silver lining?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There is a silver lining?

Post by Hatfield Red »

Thinking that we will finish mid table, season ticket prices will be far cheaper as we wont have to pay for 7 cup games. :barscarf: Unless we win the Carling and FA cup but some how that just seems a long shot.

We wont be the top of the fair play league. Lets hope we can miss out Europa League and next season we can have a new manager, cheaper tickets and concentrate on a league challenge.

But then again most of our best players may have left by then. :banghead:

Yeah 2 quid off a ticket to see a mid table team seems worth it to me :barscarf:

If we are in the Europa league and they proceed to charge me same price ST next year - I will not be renewing (even if the promise of an active transfer policy is given).

If they dropped price significantly I'd mull it over.

Would prefer if they were not on it at all obviously as I would even when we do qualify for CL.

You think they'll put prices down?? :?

Not a chance. We'll be around 40m down for not qualifying for the CL so there is no way they will reduce ticket prices to lose more money!!!
Cup ties will still be included as well. They will definitely not willingly lower their income.

I agree. Arsenal, Spuds and Chavs have charged very similar prices for years now regardless of CL or league position......
