Amen. That is why I won't give mine up but its becoming a chore to go there now and watch this load of shit. I have deliberated for a few years now about jacking it and the reasons I won't are:

1. I've followed them for too long to jump ship when things go bad.

2. Sad to admit but I've built a major part of my social life meeting the lads for a gallon of beer before and after the match that it would be hard to give up. Sometimes the football just seems to get in the way of a good drinking session.

3. The missus would try and drag me round fucking shopping centres on Saturday afternoons or round the houses of people I neither know or care about for "Lunch" on Sundays.

4. If I did give it up and Wenger fucks off, I'll be gutted as it will be to the back of the queue and then having to suffer ST in the upper tiers for an eternity.

.
Amen to this brother! :high5:

I choose to have a family and many I know that have done similar have gave up attending football due to costs. I however made sure I didn't. So attending matches including all of the above is my vice.

Also regarding the merchandise I think this is mainly aimed at fans making a day of it, soaking in the atmosphere, buy a or two gift maybe and some food. I understand this but its not for me. I'm not far so I eat at home if not I know several places were better to eat then inside. Same goes for drinking.

I'm delighted that Gazidis has come out and uttered this tripe as effectively he has given Wenger a vote of confidence. History teaches us that the most likely sequence of events following a vote of confidence from a football club is that they do then sack the man!

I know Arsenal like to think they do things differently but i believe making a statement to the worlds press that wenger wont be sacked is a massive step towards sacking him!

He also managed to get the words 'idiot'and 'broken man' into the mix as well. Could be his sub-conscious talking

My god, even the North Korean regime would be proud and not a little envious of that performance from Gazidis!!  By the way, where are these numerous statements made by Silent Stan on his intentions at Arsenal that Ivan talks about? :?

I don't want that to sound like some wanky 'super fan' shit but the club have me, like other fans over a barrel.

I know things are shit mate and if there is a mass protest walk out / don't attend I'm in. I totally respect your reasons and hats of to you for sticking to your guns.

Like I say I'll join you shoulder to shoulder if there was a protest organised but since I was 7 I will always support Arsenal FC and not Arsene FC.
I see your point Boomer but WHY do the club have you over a barrel? I have supported this club over 30 years, I'm from Islington, I went to school in the borough, Arsenal is part of my community and family.

Yet because I love this club and can see it is being destroyed by a combination of greed and cult-worshipping 'fans' I refuse to attend anymore. It isn't helping if anything it is rewarding greed.

I see your reasons and I can't slate you for that, but what I am saying is that if you want changes at the club then when that ST renewal form pops in your post next summer, use it instead of Andrex.
Same as me then.
I was born, breed and Schooled in Islington to.

As Augie says above we've waited years to get our hands on a ST and I'm not planning on giving it up.
This is why they have us over a barrel. I want to attend the matches and support the club I love yet I have no option but to bite the bullet and pay up. I'm not happy about it far from it but only other option is not paying and stop attending.

I will agree with you that fans power does speak. So yes a mass no-show would work. As I was stating previously, apart from food and souvenir purchases, it wouldn't financially hit the club in doing so but would send a huge message.
Ok fair Boomer.
BUT then. If you insist on attending the bowl, surely the one duty you have then it to heckle the living shit out of Wenger?? Surely you cannot sit there and chant this shit? If I still went I would make the Emirates a fucking cauldorn of hate for Wenger and Gazidis.

I said it a week ago but I think many Arsenal fans are some of the most spineless in the division. They put up with so much shit. EXAMPLE: if Michael Carrick had come out saying he wears a Man City top around his house, what do you think ManYoo fans and Fergie would have done for him? It's disrespecting to the club and its tradition and rivalry. Carrick would never play again for one. For two if he somehow did, the ManYoo fans (known as prawn sarnie brigade) would tear him a new one so hard he'd hand in a transfer request.

Now compare and contrast with Abou Diaby. I can 100% guarantee that when this c**t re-emerges, that not one soul in the concrete bowl will boo him or give him hell. Nothing. The shirt and pride in this club means fuck all as Wenger has killed it. Indeed, every time Wenger is discussing the Arsenal problems he keeps mentioning 'I have Diaby to come back soon'.

DIABY.

This c**t should never ever play for us again. He's been there FIVE years. He earns more than Luka Modric. He is fucking crocked all the time. Always. When he plays he does more harm to our chances than when crocked.

And yet most fans in that concrete bowl will cheer him when he makes his comeback.

Remember he said 'Arsenal fans are too nice'.

Even Diaby calls Arsenal fans pussies!!!

If you go to the ground Boomer, hammer the shit out of Wenger and never tolerate disgusting performances. If you see Gervinho acting like a greedy c**t and costing us points because he's too much of a retard to pass, give him hell! If you see unacceptable defending from Djourou BOO THE c**t. Djourou and Koscielny should be heckled every week for that 8-2 humiliation. Both their performances at OT were cowardly and pathetic.

But again what do you get? Arsenal fans claiming Koscielny can come good.

Yeah. Maybe at Barnet....
:banghead:
This is where we disagree.

I will never boo a player that wears the red and white of the Arsenal.
I may choose not to support or sign about him but not boo.

Want good for the team does that do?!
Beside's if a players shit it's not their fault that one day they were playing in ligue 1 or goalkeeping in the 2nd divison in spain and suddenly picked to play for the Arsenal. No that's Wengers fualt

There hasn't been a moment to heckle Wenger. It's simmering and there is an ill feeling around the ground at it won't be long until it snaps.
It happend the end of last year.

New year unfortunatly brough new optism.
Liverpool was seen as a blip yes there was unrest but we hadn't seen the worst.
By the time we lost at ManU the next game was Swansea but the new signings has bought some time for Wenger.
Blackburn is another disgrace. Maybe something will happen tonight but then you'll be glad to hear (in protest) I'm not going!
So Bolton is our next real home game.

augie wrote:Baba, after the debacle against the scum at the grove last season I decided that I would not attend another game until wenger left but would renew my season tickets in the meantime as I cannot downgrade to silver (only got the season tickets last season). After the usual summer shenanigans I felt sure that there would be an almighty backlash from the fans at the 1st home game v the scousers so decided to attend (of course nothing happened though  ). As I have said on the mackems match thread I will be going over for the game v the mackem fans but will not bother staying the extra night to watch these c**ts and their senile dickhead manager prance around the place again on the sunday. I know that having paid for my ticket the club wont be out of pocket by my non attendance but I still believe that the thousands of empty seats on matchdays will worry the club so in that regard I am doing my bit.

I class myself as militant (not violent) by nature and very very much support the need for a major protest. That there hasnt been one to date not only saddens me but also shocks and frustrates me :x In case you havent noticed the club can put any kind of spin they want on matchday attendance figures but the one thing that they cannot sweep under the carpet is a big public protest and that is the route us fans should be going. The fact that we havent done so only encourages phw, wenger et al to continue piss on us from a great height and most of the time I feel that we deserve it by our refusal to get pro-active in our demands for change. Are all these fans that say we need a change of manager not willing to give up an hour before a home game to let kroenke know exactly how we feel ? Are fans really that lazy that they are willing to sit back hoping that other fans will do the protesting for them ? FFS if we feel that strongly then we should be all willing to stand up and be vocal about - at this stage maybe the akb deserve more respect because at least they stand by their beliefs      :banghead:

I will ask again: WHY WOULD YOU NOT BOO HIM? You have a duty to ridicule this arse hole after that. ManYoo fans would do it. Spuds would do it. Pool fans would do it.

Why do Arsenal fans think they are different? Is it some sanctimonious thing? Is it because our supporters are better? Because they're not you know. EMirates is shit. Is it because it will 'affect their confidence'? If on £60k a week Diabolical cannot take a bit of booing then the dickhead is in the wrong profession.

AC Milan fans boo their players now and then, ManYoo fans do it to but success doesn't seem to affect them. Or is this part of the mythical 'Arsenal way'? Or he coulda just saved us all the time and quoted an AKB classic:

'DO YOU WANT US TO DO A LEEDS'?!!!

If anything Ivan's comments show he has fuck all faith in Wenger surely? If he is saying blowing the entire transfer budget could result in making bad purchases, then what does that say in his confidence in the manager using that money wisely to make the right signings?? Could you ever imagine Gill saying this about Ferguson!

Sorry Boomer but that's B.S and a cop-out and you know it.
If DIABY is booed when he steps out on the pitch or every time he receives a touch of the ball, how is that booing them all? It is very easy to cheer once the ball s passed on to RVP or Sagna. Cop-out mate sorry.

What good will come of booing him you ask?
I'll flip that question round: what good has come out of five years of making excuses for the c**t and mollycoddling him? What good has come out of making excuses for his ineptitude all this time? Oh I know what...a new improved £60k a week contract.

This is the C**T who when the BSM held their march sat honking at them in his fucking Merc because he couldn't move his flash car along as they all marched on for their club. This dickhead literally does not give a shit about the club.

So no. Booing Diaby is NOT the same as booing them all. It is booing Abou Diaby and there is NO WAY he should be allowed to get away with what he said or how he's performed.

I will repeat: for YEARS I have been hearing excuses for not slating the players in public such as 'Oh how will this help them'. Well let me tell you something, we have been behind these players and manager and did not utter a single word of criticism (most of us) until for the first time, SEVEN years later. They have been afforded seven years of grace, seven years of outrageous wages, seven years of going through the motions, seven years of taking the piss out of the fans.

Now it's payback time enough is enough.

Not booing and not slating them hasn't worked. I repeat: DIABY SAID ARSENAL FANS ARE TOO NICE! If that doesn't give you a hint then what will!!! All the pampering and the bubble protection fans have been giving these pussies has not worked. In the real world when you perform dismally, you're in shit. This is LONG OVERDUE.

TIme to bring these c**s, especially Wenger, into the real world.

These players do not fear consequences. The Colney Creche is a bubble where no one shouts, their kits are folded, they eat what they want, they muck about and do as they wish. Same goes for Wenger. Pressure free environment, don't for a second think these bitches give a fuck about your mortgage repayments and what you sacrifice to watch them. It's ridiculous that fans continue to make excuses to pamper these c***s. ENOUGH.

Time to being them back to the real world. Where it's a cruel world and where failure will be met with a vicious backlash. I've had enough of this pussyhole Arsenal culture.
