Did you know?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

My mate met Robert Pires in a plumbers merchants three years ago. Said he was friendly, happy to sign autograph.

All the Arsenal players I have met have been very personable.

I also attended the same school as gooner89 and sam strange, i have to agree the man was a legend but also a shocking teacher, but an hour spent talking about arsenal is an hour worth spent in my eyes.

after the reading game last season, our coach leaving ashburton was held up cos someone won the matchday programme thingy, and we were pretty pissed off. Then bergkamp turned up in his car, and we all ran over (ignoring adebayor in his 4x4 cos back then he was shit) to his car to get his autograph. I had no programme so i asked if i could touch his face!
no just joking i got him ot sign my bright yellow away shirt, and then took it to the gala dinner later that year. bob wilson even noticed i ahd the 'great man's signature on my shirt. happy days!!
