'Lets Pretend we scored a goal' ????

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I know i am not baring much hope but if we happen to go behind at a game , should we chant out :

'Lets Pretend '
'Lets Pretend'
'Lets Pretend we've scored a goal'

(then go crazy as if we have scored a goal?)


just a thought if we go behind by more than 3

I remember West Ham fans doing that at the grove a few years ago. We were 2 - 0 up and they pretended they scored 3. Was a bit if a giggle but I'd be embarrassed as he'll if we were to do it.

Its a variation on let's pretend we've won a trophy, which is what I did everytime we came 4th

We did it when we were losing to Fulham away on the final day of last season, also sung 'let's pretend we've won the league' before chanting 'Champions, Champions'....good fun away day that was (It's Denilsons leaving party, fuck off Eboue and Diaby)
