Bendtner; The Leg-end
Gutted for the lad today, about the only one in our squad who looks like a fucking footballer. Did quite well, won his share in the air, held it up well, unlucky not to score when he did the right thing and tried to lift it over the keeper. I wont go over the top, after that utter fucking shit tonight no one deserves a high mark but Bendtner was about the only positive and for that gets a lofty 5 out of 10, about 6 marks higher than the rest of the *word censored*. Brown lost the ball more times than I care to think about and decided not to challenge for their second, Mignolet needs dropped as soon as possible, I'm not actually convinced that Gardner is a footballer, Sessegnon was a fucking waste of space (albeit we did keep pumping high balls up to him).
Trouble is, with the "service" we provide (Larsson on the left who is hot and cold, Elmohamady on the right who is fucking shite, Vaughan who is okay at "keeping it simple" and Gardner who is a fucking disgrace), Bendtner will struggle to prove his worth. He'll still score a good number and contribute to a fair few, but I'll bet he's sitting there wishing he'd never fucking bothered to join this fucking disgraceful bunch of one paced plodders managed by a fat geordie *word censored* who specialises in looking fucking clueless every time we go a fucking goal down. Someone needs to pull the fucking trigger on Bruce as soon as possible, its fucking painful watching him. Im sure he'll have an excuse though. Fucking fat *word censored*.
Bendtner rating: 5 (better than the rest of the spineless shower of fucking arseholes who "graced" the pitch today)

Prick with shite throughout? Is this about Bendtner or King Jayson?safcftm wrote:arseofacrow wrote:safcftm wrote:Please...why eye...would one of yeez conts...why eye...basewhyeyement this cont of a thread.
nope, the thread lives yet. When Bendtner goes back to Arsenal fully commited having experienced what life can be like when you go to a club managed by a clueless prick with absolute shite throughout and helps you win the title, you'll look back on this thread and think "it was Arsenal related after all".

Well, Quinn is loyal to a fault so I cant see him going anywhere, but then again our owner has spent a lot of his own money and billionaires dont tend to be the most loyal and patient of people so you never know.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:you lot have had it with Bruce now I bet?safcftm wrote:arseofacrow wrote:safcftm wrote:Please...why eye...would one of yeez conts...why eye...basewhyeyement this cont of a thread.

For me, Bruce is poor, hes a mediocre manager who has done no better with decent resources than he did at Wigan. We've twice won having been behind under him which is poor, we still need a left winger and left back which we've needed for years, when we go behind the camera shows him and he looks clueless, he has been here a decent while but still needed 11 new players this season, he cant keep the "big" players happy, i really am struggling to see why we persist with him.
that being said, I'm not a knee jerker and we know our place in the league. We need to be about mid table, hopefully just top half, and that will be fine. For that reason I dont want him gone yet because i want him to have 10 league games but at that point we have to either have 11 points with vastly improved performances (over the course of a season that is borderline survival) or more likely 12 points (works out about 46 points a season, about 14th). If he cant even get that then he needs to go. Currently he's on 5 points after 6, so I'm not even convinced he can manage that. He's got winnable games (West Brom next which we could win, Arsenal away which I think we'll lose but could snatch a draw albeit we wont have Bendtner, Villa at home where we should be able to compete and bolton away which is winnable. 12 points from these, since we've already had Swansea and Norwich away, Stoke and Newcastle at home shouldnt be too much to ask but he looks like he might fall short. He has a lot to do to convince me and tbh I'm more patient than most, a lot want him out- the fact hes a mag and the gutless derby performances under him (the 5-1 especially) dont help either!

whats going wrong, i thought this season you would get a top 7 finish and a Europa league place
you've got a half decent squad, Gordon is a decent keeper, O'Shea, Richardson and Brown are good defenders
Cattermole, Larsson and Gardener are alreet and super nic upfront
i know it looks like you have a team of cast offs - but what's going wrong

Well, we dont have a keeper worthy of the name. Mignolet is a decent back up and a young prospect but Gordon has been out too long and Mignolet flaps at too much. The main thing though is we are so one paced- Richardson and Elmohamady are the only quick players we have, Richardson is trying to be a left back (which he isnt), we dont have a left winger at all (we could use Richardson but Bruce is too busy playing him out of position) and whilst Elmohamady is fast he's also fucking shite and cant keep possession, or pass, or cross, or shoot, hence he's about as much fucking use as a rat in a tampon factory. Then we have the central midfield of Vaughan (canny little player, but slow and does nothing other than keep it simple), Cattermole who is shit and keeps getting booked and Gardner who should probably have been aborted.Rosie_titters wrote:whats going wrong, i thought this season you would get a top 7 finish and a Europa league place

Sessegnon is a nice little footballer, but he cant play off a lone striker and we cant really put him anywhere else, good footballer but not right for us. The strikers, well, we'd have had a lovely mix with Bendtner and Gyan but then we went mental and let Gyan leave on loan when we couldnt replace him and now have Bendtner (looks good but needs service) and 2 other "big lads" in the shape of Wickham (unproven player, needs a few seasons) and Ji (unproven player just in from South Korea). Add this plodding lack of pace and inventiveness to a side with 11 new signings who dont know each other and you get a mish-mash of one paced players passing it about (unsuccessfully), frustrating the hell out of Bentdner by hoofing it up to him or playing it to feet and being too slow to support and losing the ball too frequently putting pressure on the defence.
We'll probably be okay, since the league is shit and Brown and O'Shea will keep us a few clean sheets, but fuck me we are dull to watch, lacking in any creativity and spark and, well, basically shite. The fact our manager is a fat, clueless waste of fucking space with the motivational ability of a *word censored* doesnt help. You think you lads have problems, dont worry, theres always still us around to be more shit! I remember the other day someone posting a thread about your form this year, only Sunderland had less points and worse goal difference, thats us, always there to be shitter than everyone else
