149th NLD - Sc*m Away

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The thread started by some mad bloke called Dave has sadly been locked - so here's his beautifully and lovingly crafted piece from that one what he made earlier

quote davemilts

LETS SEE WHAT YOU BUNCH OF MISERABLE F**** say after the spurs game and another anti wenger trail of abuse.supporting arsenal you have your good times ,which we have had.....REMEMBER and now we are going through bad and how you bunch of twats are all suicidal.for fuk sake get behind the team.if arsenal get rid of arsene WHO IS GOING TO TAKE OVER AND WANT TO TAKE OVER.ARSENAL WILL NEVER GET RID OF ARSENE SO DEAL WITH IT ,YOU CRETINS.IF YOU CANT DEAL WITH IT,F*** OFF.START SUPPORTING YOUR TEAM.THE PROBLEM IS WE ARE SPOILT,WE,VE HAD THE BEST NOW LETS DEAL WITH WHAT WE GOT

That is quite beautiful. Could have been written by Sir John Betjeman himself, especially the gratuitous abuse of which Sir John was so fond.

You heard it here first people - if Arsene should ever say farewell, we're properly fucked and no mistake!!!!

I hear this line more and more, it's like they've all been brainwashed and that is their stock reply, coupled with the other obvious ''fuck off..and support someone else'' zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Dave Milts can you answer me without swearing or questioning my love of Arsenal

My question is Why should i fuck off and support another team if i am currently unhappy with the way things are being done at Arsenal?

Why cant i be unhappy with the manager and board?

Also why does this make me less of a supporter?

Id be interested in seeing your answers

Can we have a guess the post match GIC quote competition. Closest wording to the actual quote gets bought a pint from yours truly before the Sunderland game.

If I win.....err, I'll buy myself one. My attempt is:

"You could see in the second half, that Tottenham had been able to rest their players in midweek...."
