Chavs can't sell out the stadium

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chavs can't sell out the stadium

Post by Chippy »

Anybody else hear the radio ad yesterday for tickets to Chelsea v Derby. it is unbeleivable that they cannot sell out a prem game when they aer still in "contention" without having to go on the radio.

Also Rijkaard as new manager.

Shit team, no history.

It's the same for their European game in midweek. A bloke is complaining in todays Sun because he was barred from buying tickets in the general sale online as he has a Greek name - only members with Greek names were allowed to buy...you couldn't make it up.

Whatever happened to the 26 million fans world wide?

Can anyone remember when Chelsea made a profit?

They've made massive losses through Abramovich's reign, before they were nearly bust. Then Harding, then Bates who bought them for £1 because they were nearly bust.

Without the sugardaddies they wouldn't exist today.

And yet they thought they could 'own' London - a-hahahahahaha!

They've been lucky to retain ownership of Stamford Bridge for so many years.

Complete with....empty seats
So you can now experience how it is to be a highly-paid footballer (Drogba or Lampard) in an empty stadium, playing in the playing the Champions League and expecting your manager to be sacked the next morning

That lad in the picture that is attempting to build a paper toy. Is he what is known as a 'cardboard cutout c**t'.

Chelsea are just a small club that got lucky. Had the murdering russian gangster landed in Norwich then it would be them up there instead.

No history, No Class, No fans (apparently)
