149th NLD - Sc*m Away
Yeah, of course, but when I complained in the past about certain things on here being tiring I was shouted down as my opinions didn't fit. So I understand that complaining about things on here being tiring is a waste of time, as everyone has to try and get on (we are all Gooners blah blah).arseofacrow wrote:Of course, it just gets a bit tiring...you know what that's like, right?antgel wrote:Because it's a forum where people type what they want, and everyone wants to type different things. I well understand the reason why he won't get slated, but it doesn't make what I said somehow false or bogus. It was a shocking mistake that would look bad on a Sunday morning. So jog on and let off steam some other way, preferably one that I don't have to know about.
He called me an idiot, I was pointing out that I'm not. I trust that you're not and idiot, therefore you're clever enough to understand this.
I don't care that OP had a different opinion to me, but if he can't converse without calling me an idiot, clearly I am not going to enjoy that.
Anyway trying to get back on topic:
A loss to the scum hanging over us for the international break. Sagna with a broken fibula. A team that has forgotten how to win even against average sides, and whose players don't strike fear into the opposition. Confidence appears to have been totally eroded, and everyone is looking to the guy next to him to change things.
I said it at the start of the season, and I see nothing to change it - we could finish anywhere from 6th-16th. The R-Word thread looks less bizarre with every week that goes by.

Demun, when we finish 6th or 7th next May, what will be your reason for still backing Arsene Wenger?1989 wrote:Fans like you will relegate us.Demun210 wrote:Gutted, but I was prepared for a loss it is what it is. A north London derby and our players "played with the handbrake on". What a thing to admit. Shame on them. Most of our players are not fit to play for Arsenal. And the manager is no longer fit to manage it.Dan_85 wrote:
Apparently we "played with the handbrake on" this week. Where have I heard that before...

By the way, as annoying as he is most of the time with his stupid fouls, I thought Song was probably our best player today. Read the game well at the back and credit to him.
But yet again I can't recall any outfield player geeing up the team. Until we have some leaders in our team, what hope is there?

All we've got now is a man way past his sell by date, a man that sees no wrong in his players, a man that lives in an Ivory Tower and a man with an excuse for everything. Nothing will change until Wenger leaves

Yea judge him in May.............................2014Demun210 wrote:If we do finish 6th or 7th then I will be looking at the situation and I'll be more inclined to question if Wenger is the right man to take us forward. As it stands, I think our squad isn't good enough to guarantee a top 4 finish, but I do think we'll be there or thereabouts.....I'm realistic about supporting Arsenal, I know our limitations and I know where we should be, and I don't think we're at the point yet where we can honestly say we've lost faith in the setup...I agree there's lots of faults but we need to be realistic in what we expect. At the moment we aren't where we should be, but there's A LOT of football still to be played this season and I'm confident we will settle down and kick on.Eboue-Why? wrote:Demun, when we finish 6th or 7th next May, what will be your reason for still backing Arsene Wenger?1989 wrote:Fans like you will relegate us.Demun210 wrote:Gutted, but I was prepared for a loss it is what it is. Don't get me wrong, I'm pissed off at the moment. I'm also prepared to stand by the setup through a tough period, I can't be one of those fans that start mouthing off as soon as it gets tough. Later in the season maybe, but not at the beginning of October.
