As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

TA is certainly the best captain we've had in the last 30 years. And yes, Birmingham aside, Gallas has done a good job as captain this season (to my surprise), but that's in the context of us not having many dominant, leading personalities these days.
Set against the likes of Pat Rice, David O'Leary, Kenny Sansom, Viv Anderson, Steve Williams, Stewart Robson, Kevin Richardson, Lee Dixon, Steve Bould, Martin Keown, David Platt, Patrick Vieira and even David Seaman (not all of whom were club captain of course), Gallas looks a pretty ordinary leader to me.

David Platt? Dont make me laugh, same goes for the likes of Viv Anderson - hardly Arsenal men are they?
For me it is Tony Adams because he was the main man while I was growing up. My Dad always puts Frank McLintock in front of TA.
Tony for me but i have to give alot of cerdit out to Paddy who became captain afterwards & what a fine job he done
Wenger has made the right choice & willy is just a captain who feels what other players may do he'll take the blame like any good captain would do
