AW refuses to shake hand after the game.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So AW's a c**t for NOT shaking hands with Allen AND a c**t FOR shaking hands with Adebarndoor. Looks like he can't win with some people.

As I understand it, this was brought to the newspapers' attention by Clive Allen, who has previously acted like a twat and appeared to being doing the same yesterday.

Most managers seem to shake hands with their opposite number, sometimes the assistant manager and then get about their business. It's not a Catholic, 'peace be with you' Mass or hippy lovefest.

This is a complete non-story. There's plenty of things to criticise Aw for but this isn't one of them.

Allen's a tosser. Wenger is bang right not to shake his hand. He shook the managers and Kevin Bond's, is he supposed to shake everyones on the bench? Especially someone whose made it clear he doesn't like Wenger.

Allen probably did it to rub it in, he hates us.

I know everyone is p1$$ed off at Wenger at the moment (and rightly so, I am too) but no need to get worked up about this. If it was Bolton's fourth most senior coach complaining about this, no-one would bat an eyelid.

Well done Clive. You managed to get a couple of comments in the news - go and tell everyone you know that you tried to make Wenger look stupid after the game. Well fucking done.

Even Redknapp didn't back up the pricks comments.

They is a saying what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Its threads and opinions like these that makes it difficult to remove the likes of AW.
Blaming AW on everything or sensationalising non stories makes it harder for people to listen when valid reasons are presented.

For the first time in a very long time I can say well done Wenger.

Allen is a spiteful, gloating *word censored* who would have been nowhere to be seen at handshakes time had we won.

We want our manager to behave with dignity in defeat as well as victory. (although that doesnt happen very often these days) The way Wenger behaves after a defeat - whingeing at the opposition staff and throwing his arms about like he did with Dalgleish and refusing to shake hands is a fucking disgrace.
He should be reprimanded or fined by the club for bringing the name into disrepute.
Fucking arrogant prick that he is.

It's not normal for a manager to shake the hand of 3 or 4 opposition coaches, is it? :? If so, since when???

As for fining him? - what the fuck?? - how many hands does a manager need to shake?? the opposition manager and assistant is SURELY enough???!!!

This is just petty.

I know some on here hate Wenger, but armchair supporter, do you REALLY think a fine is warranted?? if so, blimey... :?
