KROENKE - *word censored*

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

it is no coincidence we have nosedived since this c**t took over.
I fucking hate him. For me is the main reason why things have gone wrong, although I admit Wenger is not without blame.

the alarm bells sounded for me when Wenger said in the summer that we would not be a big club if we sold Fabregas and Nasri. It was fairly obvious then that they would be sold. Was this Wenger's cry for help?
Were the board not backing him in spending money at this point?
Why didn't Mata come in the summer? Why didnt Cahill come in the summer? Is this all Wengers fault? If it is then yes he should go but I dont believe that it can be.

as for Kroenke backing him last week, well of course he is. He knows that if Wenger was sacked and resigned it wouldnt be long before fans turned on him, as we should all be doing now anyway
You save save some of your ire for the directors who made a bucket load of cash by selling out to Kroenke.

Why don't you it can be all Wenger's fault? There is no inherent reason. The guy clearly thought he could keep hold of Nasril - then when it was pointed out to him that he was being a prick with this one, it was too late.

And Cahill, he placed a value on this guy, and Bolton weren't prepared ot part with their most valuable asset for, let's be generous and say, £10m. It's clear. Wenger fucked up, and we are paying the price - which is ironic really.

but what are the board doing?
they are doing nothing and seem quite happy with what Wenger has done this summer. Shouldn't someone be saying to Wenger to buy the star players and backing him with players wage demands etc.

what is Gazidis paid to do for example?

the most worrying thing Kroenke said last week was that he was quite happy for Arsenal to be going through a transitional phase at the moment ie that he was actually happy for the club to drop out of being one of the top clubs for the time being.

The board and Wenger are a happy coalition. Up till now, Wenger has produced CL football, without spending big money, which for the board is success - it keeps them at the centre of world football, ths maintaining worldwide exposure. There is no real pressure.

The knock-on effect of this from the start has been that Wenger has allowed to be indulged with his project, which has failed, and lead to the desperate scramble on transfer deadline day, as well as the signing of another expensive championship teenager.

Agree with what everyone is saying, and whose idea was it to get Kroenke involved in the first place?

Seriously ?? So what you are saying is that it has actually only gone tits up in the last 4 months ? I dont normally take the bait to your responses but the yank took control in the summer and it has been pear shaped for "a bit" longer than that
