Don't tell me mate, and calling the box office is the most frustrating thing in the world. I've phoned every day this week and each time got:

why have you phoned the box office, you need the travel club
why have you phoned the travel club you need the box office
call back tomorrow

Tickets finally arrived today though, so I can send them on.

This has all the makings of a rather large f*ck up.....

I called the ticket office this morning and told them I'd received 4 tickets when I'd only ordered 2. The names are the same so I'd assumed that they must be duplicates, although haven't had a chance yet to check. But the guy in the ticket office started to tell me that they would be 4 genuine tickets.....and could I immediately call him back with the details. I presume he wanted to cancel 2 so that they could be reissued to someone who hasn't received any....?

I intend to join everyone else in the main square and entertain the locals. But I also intend to get to the ground early as I suspect that the police will insist on the Arsenal section being closed as soon as it looks full...!!

can they do this? if we all have tickets then surely we can get in!

it does sound like a real fucking mess. why they didn't just send the two or three weeks ago is beyond me. and those traveling with supporters clubs and official tours should of been given their tickets when checking in.

maybe it just sounds too easy to me and Arsenal know something i don't.

If your flying out with the travel club then your tickets are usually given to you at the airport. Thats what they did with Porto and Sevilla anyway. Hope thats helped.

Right.....I've now had the chance to check and the extra tickets they've sent me are NOT duplicates i.e. I have paid for 6 seats in total, but received 8, apparently valid tickets.

Now presuming that Arsenal really did have 4500 tickets and 4500 people really did buy them, then the extra 2 that I have must surely belong to someone else...? Or maybe Arsenal thought they'd sold 4500 tickets, but some of the names were on there twice??

Whatever, at this late stage I'm not planning on confusing matters still further by returning the tickets to Arsenal, so if anyone has genuinely ordered one which hasn't turned up then PM me and we can arrange to meet in Milan!! It seems to me that, even if Arsenal "cancel" a ticket, the San Siro turnstile check is unlikely to pick this up....so my earlier concern that we may have more fans than seats still holds true!!

so what is the course of action for the guys still waiting, for tickets? will the club issue duplicates? and would you pick them up from emirates or in italy?

i'd suggest he takes his confirmation e-mail with him and arranges for the club to have replacements waiting for him at this hotel.

complete farce mate. it would appear people have other people's tickets and some haven't even got theirs yet. i'm worried that whilst we sold 4500, not all 4500 have tickets.
