"It is two steps forward and one step back, it is exactly that," said Wenger.
= no, acutally it is one step forwards and two/three steps back
"Sunday was a game we could have come out of with a point but it [our inconsistent form] is down as well to a lack of confidence.
= meaningless - last year we could have won the quadruple. Last year Fulham could have won the treble.
"We will come back because you could see again that there is a strong spirit in the team. But we have to become a bit more realistic and do our job better in certain situations.
= meaningless/gibberish
“I felt on Sunday that defensively we are becoming stronger.
= er, we conceded two soft goals
But we lost the ball from good positions in the final third so we could have done better with our passing.
= no shit
"Tottenham's second goal made the difference.
= no shit
After that they could sit back and play on the counter-attack.
= how dare they do that after taking the lead
That is why we are guilty because we did not do our job properly
= thats pretty obvious, will you be resigning then?

[quote="frankbutcher"]I want to set the record straight about "One Arsene Wenger". It was sung as a direct response to those c@nts singing "Sit Down you Paedophile". I sang it and most of the crowd sang it.
Spot on mate. I was there yesterday and was gonna post the same message but you beat me to it. Although i didn't and wont sing "one Arsene Wenger"

Window is shut till january, (also not sure about funds available to new manager)
so what can we expect to be different, the new bloke will still have
Jenkinson, Mertersacker, Koscienly and Gibbs as he's back four
the losses of Sagna, Wilshire and Vermalen is too much
Barring that, any old *word censored* that can organise a defence and build from the back. Even if its just a stop-gap manager while we look for a new manager to take us forward. Only thing that i am relatively sure of is that keeping Wenger is no longer in the interests of the club, not by a fucking long shot.

Ancelotti, who also throws away 3 goal leads before getting beat- the bloke is no better than Wenger
The new bloke would probably bring in some defensive tactics and coaches and not let the team just work it out for themselves.Rosie_titters wrote:let's say wenger quit tomorrow, Pat Rice would take charge in the short term, so we could be looking at 2 to 3 weeks before a new bloke comes in

He'd probably bring in his own medical team so the injured players can have proper diagnosis and treatment.
He might even have a plan "B", change formation, tactics for different opposition
He might motivate the players better than Wenger and instill some pride in the jersey that seems so lacking in this present squad.
He might behave with some dignity on the touchline and not bring the club into disrespect with petulant , arrogant hissy fits with opposing managers and staff
He might give post match interviews that actually make some sense and not continually spout the same old cryptic nonsense.
He might treat the fans with some respect instead of the way Wenger seems to hold the fans in complete contempt
Come January he might even bring in some decent ,quality players instead of the third rate French or African dross favoured by Wenger.
I'd take Paul Lambert in a heartbeat. Or David Moyes, or Van Gaal, or Reijkard or fucking anybody. Anybody to get Wenger out and get some fresh ideas in and some proper fucking defending ffs.
Er our boys are severely lacking in confidence right now! with AW in charge! being without AW right now would help i believe, PR can keep things ticking over until we find the man to take over. Maybe RVP will then wait and see who we get. but right now HE (Our blxxdy MESSIAH) WILL LEAVE summer 2013 unless we do something. There are players like RVP, like Sagna that love AW, i luv the man for what he's done, but they are employed by him and it's v hard for them considering their years with us and AW to talm against him. The likes of AA does ocassionally now and then - simply cos he hasnt such loyalty to AW.kiwomya wrote:So people think that we would be better WITHOUT a manager? along with months until the transfer window, big injuries and low confidence.
For God's sake what are we waiting for, it can get worse ...
Let's imagine we win nothing and finish 5th (yep even that is unlikely right now), so no CL.
He'll still be in charge for 2012/13 and we'll then be like the Spuds, Liverpool etc a hit n miss side ..
I honestly think the players have lost faith some of them are i think waiting for us to sound out our unhappiness.
Maybe some want AW in charge for 20 yrs, maybe for 30 yrs ? really?
He was the best manager, now NO NO NO Chelski find a virtually unknown manager who has so far hit the grown running for them so why can't we.
People compare this lean spell to Fergies, but Fergies was early on for the mancs, not at the tail end of his service!
Our current league record form stinks and at ANY other PL club the manager would be sacked - no question.
I'll be posting where the march will start nearer the time. Be there if you want us to get out of this rut and start a new era a new era without AW as our manager...

i think that was after we equalised. Euphoria or whatever prob took over - ie a momentary elation feeling (as we all have), but the root is rotten to the core and even the away lads and lasses will i'm sure join up to SAVE OUR ARSENAL
They won't. They were singing it at 0-0 just minutes before VDV scored. We are very much in the minority until something happens at a home game. Our away fans aren't the messiahs that have been portrayed
Div.
Its not about whether you back the manager. Its about being Arsenal!
