Predicted Carling Cup attendance v Bolton

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

it will be easier to predict an attendance once they go on general sale tomorrow.

Whatever we are all feeling about the club at the moment, surely £10 adults and £5 children's tickets is something that everyone should support?

Surely sticking two fingers up at them is also an acceptable option currently?

And as for the ticket prices, let's not forget Arsenal's wonderful administration fees which include charging you for printing your own ticket that go on top of the ticket price!

Do they now charge administration fees for tickets bought in person from the stadium box office?

By all means stick two fingers up at £37 minimum to see the likes of Stoke at home or £52 minimum to see an average team like Liverpool when it's on tv anyway (as I do). I'm also p1ssed off at booking fees and the outrageous £40 silver membership annual fee.

However £12 adults and £7 junior tickets for the CC including booking fee is still a great thing to support.

There is no added fee when bought in person from the box office.

I will be there, reckon it will get similar gate as the Shrewsbury game about 46,000.

Still a decent opportunity for people priced out of regularly going to attend, plus I'm sure the club realise if these games weren't discounted the empty seats would outnumber the occupied.

You may have recently seen some quote from Arsene Wenger about the 'recession' responsible for the downturn on attendances, conveniently marginalising the bigger issue of the most expensive tickets to watch a midtable Premier League club full of passionless gutless players assembled by Arsene himself.

What better way to stick two fingers at him and the club by not attending this game despite them virtually giving them away? Sends a clear message that its NOT just about ticket prices - more importantly about the con that is Arsenal FC.

If Arsenal FC was a ready meal at Tescos, Id want a refund under the trade description act

Whatever the attendance is Arsenal will make one up to announce to the general public.

Fair enough, but to take your analogy further, we're all p1ssed off at being asked to pay Harrods prices for Tesco value quality; at least the CC is also Tesco value prices!

just 2 blocks (apart from the away support) have so far sold out and it is already on general sale.

I don't see there is any way this game will attract more than 30,000.

this is the problem Arsenal now have - we are no longer attractive to the tourists and day trippers

I confidently predict it will be one of the biggest crowds in the country for the Fourth Round of the Carling Cup and will be a testament to the brilliant support the club has among its loyal supporters.

So....do I get the job in the Arsenal Press Office?
