I think Dalglish was at fault last season, Wenger reacted to the late penalty and was walking towards Dalglish who was clearly seen telling Wenger to fuck off. I can only remember Wenger not shaking hands twice..with Pardew and Hughes and both of those had allegedly abused him during the games. There was a non story about never shaking Phil Browne's hand but TV pictures proved that wrong.Percy Dalton wrote:Sid I agree that Wenger has made a tit of himself before with this, notably with Dalglish last season.goonersid wrote:That is beside the point, Wenger has a history of this and is making a prick of himself.Percy Dalton wrote:Wonder why Mr Allen holds a grudge against us?

However, I really do not see this as his problem as Allen as a minion of Redknapp has no need to shake Wenger's hand!
Like I said earlier, Allen would have been off with his tail between his legs had we had won.
Really it is a complete non-story and the fact Redknapp didn't back Allen shows this.
Wenger is many things including an ungracious loser but why should Clive Allen get the media attention.
