As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I didn't think we were necessarily bad, but we should have killed them off when it went 1-1. Instead we fucked about. The ball retention is terrible atm.

Song and Coquelin played very well. Think Song should stay there.
i agree he plays better as a centre half and i think its due to him not having to think and track back etc, Song is a brainless buffoon give him jobs that dont involve thinking like centre half
SONG  I gave up how many times he gave the ball away last Sunday and in positions just outside our box, I really can't stand him any longer, he thinks he's better than he is !!
I will have to pull you up on this one Frank, but I don't think anyone gave the ball away as much on Sunday as Ramsey. I know he got the goal, but I cannot remember this lad ever having a great game for us.
He has been, in my mind as big a disappointment as Theo, given the hype that came with his signing.
I know he had his injury, but still I have seen nothing before or after the injury to convince me he will make the grade. At least nothing in an Arsenal shirt.
And there is the rub. I honestly think if Theo or Ramsey were at another club they would both be world beaters by now. As IU4GN posted here a couple weeks ago, Arsene just seems to drain any real flair and brilliance out of young players as he molds them into good little robots that can play his poxy regimented tippy tappy passy pass pass shite excuse for football. :banghead:

Ramsey was awful but because of that it doesnt make Songs passing and possesion any better Sid. They both arent good enough for Arsenal

I agree Ramsey was also culpable, but Song was playing in the centre of our defence and his poor, brainless passing (obviously by playing further back than Ramsey) left us in situations whereby, had they been seized upon, would have ended up with shipping in another 4 or 5 goals. Song is playing as a centre half and is still playing stupid short 4-5 yard passes to the majority of the time to the opposition.

I expected to lose and indeed feared worse and was therefore relieved when I found out the score that we hadn't lost by a bigger margin. The truth, as unpalatable as it may well be, is that we've fallen so far back that Spurs are now better than us.

Even in the aftermath of finding out that we lost and reading what people on here thought about things, although still a bit disappointed that the expected loss happened, I don't feel anything like the anger that I would have in the past, or had I seen things unfold before my very eyes. As well as the match, I have avoided all sports programmes on tv and radio and as a consequence am less stressed than I ordinarily would be, given the circumstances.

Regardless of our results, I don't even get the same pleasure out of watching other football matches like I once did. Wenger has managed to change me into someone who not only is so disheartened that he does not even want to watch his own club play against it's bitterest enemy, but also someone now feeling little but apathy towards both Arsenal and football in general, whereas once it meant everything to me.
Yes its so fucking sad. Hes taken our Arsenal away.
We wont feel any better until hes gone and even then it'll be strange. :(

This is truly a great and a sad post. I've also been going over to The Arsenal now for nearly 40 years and now when I'm over at the souless bowl looking around at the new, unrecognisable crest, at the, imo, overrated, stark and cold stadium, the fans around me, many brainwashed tourists and then at our players, 'playing' for our great club, the majority of them just money grabbing, gutless bastards who don't give a damn for our club it really makes me yearn for a return to Highbury, when things were a lot more simplier and a whole lot warmer.

Haha, I did behave like a total *word censored* all day!

To sum up....
Put dog end in your pint
Evacuated the bog in the pins after the most vile dump ever
Gagged and vomited on bus
Got cock out during rendition of 'Runnin round tottnum' whilst on bus
Poured can over you and jays head on bus
Got Gooner gus and Mikey cheapshotted
By mouthing off outside a hardcore y!d pub
Walked into my house to find the mrs have a friend and her young kids round only to be asked why I was wearing a fair bit of my own claret.

Am I missing anything ;)

You forgot giving me cheap shit warm lager. I don't remember u pouring pint on my head but when I was washing all the claret off my face after getting injured celebrating (i know) there was a load of sticky shit in my face.

That bottle of Jaeger was your idea too.

And you forgot failing to turn up for brekkie at the Swan.
