I think it's because we all care so much about Arsenal, and the fact the club at the moment is in real tatters, that the volume of insults has been growing more and more. We are all frustrated and angry, and it shows.
I've been guilty of it as well myself, and I realize it is wrong. We're all grown ups here and should know better than to resort to pathetic playground name-calling that is fast becoming the common theme on here these days. People indulging in personal rows and hijacking threads with their bile, very sad.
The in-fighting is getting ridiculous. I hope we can go back to having a laugh again, cuz the banter is missing these days.

I agree completely, and actually, it's an interesting reflection on wider society. Whenever the shit hits the fan, people become cuntier. A good example is the Nazis.
Also look at the Scum fans. 50 years of bitterness manifests itself prominently at their shithole when we come down the road. They never have to worry about these things at our place. Why? Because we're not bitter. But some of us are getting there.
