Do you socialise with work colleagues?

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Funny coinicidence you resurrected this thread. The office / work dept xmas do has been organised, they didn't even ask me this year if I wanted to go? I am actually chuffed to bits  Fucking wankers.

Our company organised a "team building" day a few months back for senior managers down to workshop supervisors. A day out petrol go-karting followed by a meal and a night out with all the drink you could force down your throat.
I didn't go to that either, can't stand watching people on various steps of the ladder licking the balls of those higher up in an attempt to get noticed, fucking pricks.

Urgh, work Christmas parties. Is there a less enjoyable event in existence?

Watching Arsenal?

This thread is great! I always thought I was alone in hating office drinks! Whenever I go I just spend the night thinking 'I should be out with my real mates' or 'I could be at home, in my pants, with a decent bottle of Malbec Football Manager and the internet'

Too much information . . .

Occasionally go out after work, probably about once every 3 or 4 months. Then again, I work in the City and work shifts so most people want to get straight home afterwards.

Depends where you work.

Where I was I socialised with colleagues all the time and it was great.

Where I am now I don't and it surely is lacking something
