As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

AFC have told me the banner will be confiscated at the gate, or if I attempt to display it, despite it being completely fire-proof, legally checked, all papers in order, and having nothing offensive on it. It willl only however be confiscated for the duration of the game.
Fucking nazis, they're honestly a despicable bunch. Did they give you a reason as to why it would be confiscated. I'm pretty certain that, considering you met all the safety requirements, what they're doing is not even legal.
Absolute c**ts.
Thank you for your further communication regarding displaying banners at Emirates Stadium and for attaching a picture for me.
While recognising your right to express your opinion, we cannot allow this banner to be displayed at Emirates Stadium. As a Club we fully support our manager and so this is not appropriate for display. I must inform you that if you were to bring this to the Stadium, it would be confiscated by our stewards for the duration of the game.
Fucking load of bollocks. c**ts.
Un-f**king-believable!!!! China or North Korea would be proud of that communication.
What they're really saying is "Come along; spend your money (£2,000 a season); sit down; have a lovely time; but don't you dare disagree with anything we say or do. Thank you for your continued support" I wonder if the "In Arsene We Trust" banners get threatened with confiscation????
Hopefully the threat of legal advice and notifying the media will make them think twice. I'm now more determined to get rid of Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke.
SWL - you're a star mate. If I ever meet you at a game I'll buy you a pint cos you totally deserve it!!!!

Cheers mate! If AW gets sacked soonish I'm not sure I'll ever have to buy a pint at Arsenal again

I honestly thought there'd be a queue of people willing to help you out. Especially some of the posters on here?
How many posters on here sit in Club Level.
PM SammydroppedhisShorts, he's up there most games.
Cor, the ultimate act of betrayl that would be.
Sammy Dropped His Shorts is one of the few positive ones left! And fair play to him, he's reasonable about it, and goes every game, so he can think what he likes.
I think Jamjc, Augie, one or two others sit in Club Level? If Augie was over for the actual game I reckon he'd be there in a shot...

Was thinking more along the lines of a steward and a fan unfurling a banner inside the stadium.
Augie? He'd abseil down to pitch side and strangle Wenger with the rope ends to the flag.
The best way to do it of course would be to get a non-Arsenal mate involved, who doesn't give a fuck about getting a bollocking, losing membership cards etc. Get him a ticket on GS & get him to unfurl the banner

I'll do it. I've already told SWL that I'll go to the Sunderland game if the banner comes out. If not Im not going, but I need to know, to get organised.
I'll get off my armchair to do/see this.
