When should the banner be unfurled

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Front row ticket, take all yer clothes off and run naked across the pitch carrying a massive Wenger out banner. Lay the banner in the middle of the pitch and just as the stewards get near to you, hit the boost button on the jet pack and take off. You could then piss on the directors box for extra effect should you wish or else just zoom out of the stadium and away from their grasp. Could only really do it once but you'd get the message on every single station on the planet I reckon and they wouldnt be able to catch you.

Sorted.
I'd then fly to N17, as the song goes....

Would the stewards confiscate the shirt off your back?
They'll hand you a red and white polyester jacket and ask you to put it on or you'll be removed from the ground because of provocative behaviour. Seriously, I witnessed it before.

I have just read the club's email. WOW.
Chairman Mao has nothing on this club! How anyone can stick up for the current method of things is disgusting. It is a blight on this once great club, and the Holy Trinity of C**s have taken our great club, and completely raped. It has been turned into a monolithic Disneyland anasthetised sterile Yank balloon, and it is scandalous.

Their email though IS THE BEST PUBLICITY THOSE OF US WHO WANT WENGER AND THE BOARD OUT COULD HOPE FOR!

What a massive PR own goal! The biggest issue here is that:

- The banner is fire proof
- The banner has nothing slanderous or offensive on it
- The banner does not contravene free speech

The fact they have the audacity to ban it anyhow on the basis that 'we are fully supportive of our manager' is a Farce!

So basically, you are being told 'come here, pay up your monies but you mean fuck all to us.'.

If you don't agree with their philosophy then you're not wanted at the ground. That is scandalous.

That would be like Tesco telling you to come spend your money on their overpriced garbage, but if you don't agree with their support of the Conservative party then there is no way they will help you take your shopping bags to your car. FUCK OFF with that.

That email is the BEST possible publicity you could have hoped for. This club is run by retards top to bottom. The manager is a fucking retard and do not underestimate the role of Wenger in all this.

Remember, this is the same manager who has now banned France Football from having access to the club after they printed a FACTUAL interview with Cesc Fabregas in which he criticised Wenger, and claimed he would have been sacked after three years if he'd been managing Valencia or Atletico (let alone Barca or Real).

Wenger runs the club like a fucking autocrat and criticism of him is not permitted. It comes from him. After he had the piss taken out of him and was publicly mocked at the supporters Q&A over his rent boy Silvestre; all future events were cancelled.
The supporters Q&A that he was perfectly willing to do two years ago after we thrashed Bolton at home, is now cancelled indefinitely for this year.

Wenger accused France Football of inventing a Cesc interview...they then humiliated him and further proved what a dishonest arrogant lying scumbag he is by actually running an audio online.

The Dictatorship at this club stems from the manager. Remember his 'stupid people' comments about the fans? We had another of Arsene's acolytes, that twat Grimandi also joining in and having a pop at the fans for daring to question Wenger and being dissatisfied.

FUCKING GRIMANDI A PIECE OF SHIT PLAYER HAVING A POP AT THE FANS, BUT USING YOUR HARD EARNED CASH TO GET HIS GRAVY.

According to reports in Frabce, Grimandi is paid over £1 million a year to 'scout' 'global' 'talents' (LOL) for Arsenal. These 'global' talents include Chamakh, Diaby, Gervinho, Koscielny and Traore. AMAZING.

Any of you could do a better job, but none of you are French. Wenger feathering his French nest making all his pals in French football nice profits...Lorient pay under £1.8 mil for Koscielny and six months later Wenger gives them over £10 mil!! Lille get £11 mil for a tosser like Gervinho!!!

I am ranting....

THE DICTATORSHIP COMES FROM THE TOP.
Wenger has proved he cannot accept criticism.

Keep that email, circulate it to the rags. I have friends in the media and I am perfectly happy to circulate it.

That is an excellent idea - there would be enough people spread around the ground to throw piles of them all over the place which would without doubt raise the profile and create a real stir 8) :barscarf:

Actually thats a canny good shout. Be expensive like, but theres fuck all Arsenal FC can do to prevent you hiring one of those planes to go over the Emirates with a "Wenger Out" banner. I'd go down the route of contacting FSF and that first like, but failing that its a decent way of getting the message across without risking being banned from the ground- if a few chipped in it'd be quite cheap as well

Little story for you: Godfather of my kids is an Editor for one of the major broadsheets. He's an Everton fan.
We talk about Wenger etc now and then, and according to him, the reason it took the press so long to criticise Wenger, even though they knew since about 2008 that he was long overdue a slating...was because he was great to interview. They say he always gave honest copy, insightful and most journalists loved the free access they got to the club.

We spoke again two weeks ago and he said the gloves are now off.
He says that since the end of the 2010 season, Wenger g has become acrid, sour, short, arrogant and incredibly manipulative. He says their sports editors have never known him to be so picky about what quotes go into a story.

Apparently, he now has more interviews and stories about Arsenal screened for approval than ever before. Tough questions are often edited out of interviews. As an example, he told me that after the Newcastle 4-4, one of his journalists asked Wenger if he thought Arsenal fans who had paid good money to travel up there would find this kind of display acceptable. He was also asked about the mentality of his players, and went ape-shit apparently.

Because he preaches about money and competing, he was also confronted by the journalist about Arsenal's massive wage bill. According to him, AW made one phone call and the journalist was told in no uncertain terms to never ask about the Arsenal wage bill, or Wenger's own personal wages/contract ever again.

So that was edited out too.

Therefore the next time you read a bland, sterile Wenger interview...
You'll know why.

THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND.

I joke, but I'm sure Arsenal own the sky in a column shaped tube circumferencing the Grove skywards. :?

Well I've got one of the "In Arsene we Rust" t-shirts off goonershirts.com and am definitely wearing it on Sunday. Totally sickened by the clubs attempt at censorship.

I'm very angry now and getting more worked up by the day about the shit at our club.

That's another interesting thought...

Thousands of fans wearing black t-shirts.
Don't know if the club have enough of those red plastic poncho things to dishout. Not to mention seeing the stewards having to run up and down the steps.

If AFCnotPLC sold them it could raise some capital for other stuff.
If not Ladyarse does T-shirts.
