When should the banner be unfurled

I think the John Cross article is very good.
This Sunday is a very important game for the team.
I couldn't careless whether there are any pro Wenger or anti Wenger banners at the game as long as we win.
The team needs the support, otherwise why bother going?
For the record I am not an AKB despite my support for Wenger on here in recent days. I am far more a UKB (Usmanov knows best) and if you are doing any Kroenke out banners I will support that.
Usmanov + Dein + Wenger = Trophies.
If Wenger doesnt suceed under Usmanov then he should go.

These fucking idiots should take a look at themselves and at the table!.SWLGooner wrote:Got a cracking text today, from someone who runs a supporters club up north and grassed me up to AFC for doing the banner last week.
The following 5 Offical Arsenal Supporters Clubs Arsenal Manchester Scotland Coleraine Daventry and Maidstone Gooners wish to put on record that we support and back Arsene Wenger the Greatest Manager in the History of Arsenal FC 100%. We are totally opposed to the proposed anti Wenger demo at the Chelsea game. We the Wenger loyalists will make our voices heard LOUD and PROUD at Stamford Bridge. If the fringe minority go ahead with their demo it is going to result in a state of Civil War between Gooners. All FIVE Supporters Clubs will lead the Crusade in defence of OUR Manager Arsene Wenger and HIS Red and White Army. Please join US

Then again, now you have the answer why AFC won't tolerate you banner mate.
Just give it time.. they're scared, they are the minority and know their ship is sinking...give them some more rope and they'll hang themselves eventually.
It's these idiots which make me sometimes wish us fight relegation.

You would think it was a good article because it is full of emotion but sorely missing any facts. Like all AKBs - it's a vote with the heart rather than with the head.Red Member wrote:I think the John Cross article is very good.

And why are you trying to pin all the blame on Kroenke?? He's been the majority shareholder since April (that's 5 months) but our malaise started in early 2008 (that's nearly 4 years).
Having said that - I would like to see Usmanov + Dein + Wenger, but only the pre 2005 Wenger; not the stubborn, arrogant, autocratic Wenger of recent years.
And the even scarier thought is that someone as blinkered and imbecilic, would actually seriously believe that Wenger has not been garnering specifically leaked 'interviews' such as the magnificent and conveniently-timed David Dein Football Focus 'interview'.kiwomya wrote:The scary thought here is you actually believe that.Babatunde wrote:Cross is a joker. He is up Wenger's hole. This is Communism Chinese-style. It's a battle for hearts and minds with incenssant 'leaks' and propaganda in the media from AW.
He is under the cosh and he knows it so he is using every bit of leverage he can from all his contacts in the media to maintain his cushty £7 mill a year power-driven scam. Those with a brain see through it though.
WENGER OUT

P.S: Jenkinson not a flop? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Nah he's sooooo much shitter than that! CONFERENCE my friends.
Or the magnificently timed 'interview' Wenger gave at the end of the 2009 season when a 'close friend' let slip that he was seriously considering taking the Real Madrid job because he no longer felt wanted at Arsenal. Few weeks later and he had Red Action licking his balls, idiots were wearing t-shirts of him and he had a new contract on its way not long after that....
But sure. No managers have ever been known to use their media contacts to assist them when they are under pressure...

Go figure stadium attendance and do your maths..Red Member wrote:you must be one of the fringe minority he writes about :finger:
Count every seat not sucked up by many that could take it.
As a red member you prolly know there are over 130K so go figure!
Count the support on the last lap of honour. And things are getting worse.
Why complicate things brah?SWLGooner wrote:T-shirts sound like a good idea to me.
Ones saying 1886 not 1996 maybe?
Or In Arsene we Rust.
Arsenal FC not Arsene FC?
'Merci Arsene but time to say Adieu'.
Short and sweet, to the point.
Arsenal FC not Arsene FC implies you might not like the power he has and want it reduced....but doesn't convey you want him out!
In Arsene We Rust I quite like. Again though, might be seen as a pisstaking 'we are going stale' but stops short of asking for his head.
1886 not 1996....Do you honestly believe that any of those clueless spunkmongs in the Disney Wal-Mart dome have any idea that Arsenal actually had a history before then!!! That t-shirt is lost on the c***s!!! They'll think you're talking about Kronenburg beer or something, '1664 not 1984' or something.
Nah nah nah.
I'd love to see a t-shirt stop someone wearing a t-shirt to a game.
So now you're not allowed banner and they control what feelings you convey.
You might not be allowed t-shirts, so they can now control the way you dress.
Soon, you won't be allowed to think for yourself and will be programmed to think like a fuckwit AKB (hi Red Member) and so they'll control the way you think!
There has GOT to be a lega challenge in there somewhere....

WAYS OF CIRCUMVENTING THE BANNER BAN
1. Wear t-shirts under your jumpers/jackets with 'WENGER OUT' or 'Time to say goodbye Arsene'. Sit together and wear these at the ground. Or make them very visible to the SKY cameras before a game
2. Get a load of 'Time to say Goodbye Arsene' flyers, and make sure a contact sat close enough to the dugout can chuck some close enough to Wenger! Failing that, litter the Red Action section with them, or the Upper Tier/Club Level
3. You will need about Nine people for this...but if each one carries a letter of the alphabet, one with the 'W', the next with the 'R' etc etc and so on...then you could stand next to each other all Nine of you (not difficult in a regularly half empty shit-hole) and just spell it out loud and clear: WENGER OUT.
Failing that I'd love a banner saying:
'ARSENE WE'RE NOT FICKLE. WE JUST DON'T LIKE YOU'.
