When should the banner be unfurled

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

worthing_gooner wrote:It's a tricky one now. Personally I would display it at as many games as possible. Sunderland at home, Chelsea away definitely, Marseille too if possible. This will show that the banner is made by real fans who pay good money to follow Arsenal home and away, in the league and in europe, and that we will not be going away until the situation is addressed :barscarf:
100% spot on.

I think that banner needs to become THAT banner.
Not a one off. It needs to be shown as a constant reminder. It cannot come out when we are shit, and then shelved if we have one win against QPR. It needs to be there, constant, as many matches home/away as possible. Keep it switching hands!

It needs to become as much of a fixture as that spazmoid with his 'KEEP THE FAITH' banner or the 'IN ARSENE WE TRUST' massive toilet paper. It needs to become a fixture in that ground until the *word censored* is gone.

He might control what goes on in the Mickey Mouse rosebowl, but let's see how the c**t deflects the criticism when it's a live Supa Dupa Sunday 4pm at the Fridge and there's nowhere to hide....

All will be found out but when he does go and nothing changes remember the next target is Kronk
Again spot on.

I've always said this but this needs to be a STRATEGIC campaign.
Wenger is the beginning. He is the easiest one to remove that we can influence. Kroenke is a bit tougher to remove, like Hicks and Gillett at Pool - but it can be done no worries.

End of the day, we first need to address Wenger's managerial incompetence, which has nothing to do with Kroenke. Kroenke has still given Wenger the green light to a wage bill that has risen to £124 million!!!

Almunia in goal, the 4 goal leads, 8-2 at OT, none of that has to do with Kroenke. Under Kroenke, despite making a massive profit AW still SPENT £56 mil on new players in the transfer window, but somehow managed to end up with the biggest collection of useless tossers I've seen in the shirt. Wasted £56 mil on crap. We cannot allow ourselves to go down the route of those blind Benitez followers at Anfield...who blamed the LOT on Hicks and Gillett even though they were allowing Rafa the funds to spunk £20 mil on Aquilani, bid £18 mi for Gareth Barry, £12 mil on Riera etc etc...

No on this is not Rafa and this is not Anfield. Hicks and Gillett might have been idiots but ON THE PITCH it was Benitez' tactical and managerial ineptitude that really fucked Liverpool.

At Arsenal, no one is going to convince me that a man on £6.5 mil a season, and a wage bill of £124 mil and who managed to blow £56 millon on rubbish this summer isn't the root. He is.

I say we get Wenger out FIRST as phase 1.

Then he will no longer be around to cover for Kroenke and Gazidis and they will be truly revealed.

You will instantly be able to tell exactly what has been going on by the next managerial appointment.

If Pep Guardiola succeeds Wenger and spends money on quality and clears out crap, we will all know Wenger was THE Cancer.

If however, Steve Bruce is appointed or Dragan Stoikovich/Remi Guarde, and they continue to recruit shit French-based players and penny pinch, then we can cause Kroenke absolute hell.

Either way, Wenger needs to go FIRST.

Did it anonymously. Wanting to see if they would by any chance appreciate free speech. They didn't. We've now got a PR tool.

I really don't think the Arsene Out brigade is 'fringe' I'ld say the those who actually go to the games home and away want him gone. These fuckes who buy a home shirt every year and think he's the greatest manager in our history (He isn't) think they have the right to dare have a go at us. Go fuck em.

Bring on the civil war!!

The following 5 Offical Arsenal Supporters Clubs Arsenal Manchester Scotland Coleraine Daventry and Maidstone Gooners wish to put on record that we support and back Arsene Wenger the Greatest Manager in the History of Arsenal FC 100%. We are totally opposed to the proposed anti Wenger demo at the Chelsea game. We the Wenger loyalists will make our voices heard LOUD and PROUD at Stamford Bridge. If the fringe minority go ahead with their demo it is going to result in a state of Civil War between Gooners. All FIVE Supporters Clubs will lead the Crusade in defence of OUR Manager Arsene Wenger and HIS Red and White Army. Please join US

Joker.
If the Wenger Out group are in suuuuuch an irrelevant minority, why are the AKBs spending ALL their time trying so hard to quell dissenting voices? Hmmmm?

:hmmthink:

Reminds me of the East German government telling the world that it was only a small minority that wanted the Berlin wall torn down...errrr what happened a few months later?

Just give it time.. they're scared, they are the minority and know their ship is sinking...give them some more rope and they'll hang themselves eventually.
It's these idiots which make me sometimes wish us fight relegation.[/quote]

come Sunday when we are winning there will only be one minority group in the ground

it will look good on TV though.
Commentator "great support from the Arsenal fans today. look at that pathetic one in the corner holding up his banner though - oh dear"

The fans wanting Wenger Out are in such a minority that John Cross felt the need to use his fat mars-bar scoffing hands to pen a whole article as to why everyone should leave poor ol' papa Wenger (on his £6.5 mil a year) ALONE.

Yup. Such a minority that now David Dein, John Cross, all the big guns are coming out with desperate, desperate defences! They think that if they keep repeating to us that we are a minority, that we would someday believe it and give up....but these dicks will spend so long telling us we are a minority that they won't see THEY are in fact the minority!

Don't ever let any of these intellectually bankrupt excrement-stuffing mongoloids ever tell you you can do nothing about it.
