Arsenal seize disabled fan's special ticket

Arsenal seize disabled fan's special ticket

Post by Boomer »

This club just gets worse.  :banghead:

http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/ ... -ticket.do
A disabled Arsenal fan has accused the club of treating her like a criminal after suspending her special season ticket.

Elvy Fichera-Beer, 54, pictured, a life-long Gunners fan, paid £550 for a ticket which also provides a seat at the Emirates Stadium for a carer.

But the club withdrew it after she left her carer, her son Stefan, 24, alone at a match when she felt unwell.

She said today: "I'm extremely disillusioned with the club I've supported week in week out for over 40 years.

"I started feeling very bad and went to sit in the car park. I was physically sick and too ill to go back in."

Stewards discovered her son sitting by himself in a spot-check on tickets. A club spokesman said: "Stewards carry out regular spot checks and any proven misuse of the concessionary scheme is dealt with accordingly."

I'm no longer surprised about anything the club does to penalise fans.

What's wrong with a simple "You're only supposed to be here with the person you are caring for, you should have left at the same time as them". Why did they have to be such nazi *word censored* and take the ticket? :awnker:

What a joke, they don't mind doing spot checks on people inside the ground but are quite happy to ignore all the touts outside Arsenal station.

The 'Arsenal Way'.

Add this to suing a little Spanish lady for selling hats in a shop with the name 'Arsenale', add this to 6.5%, add this to PHW and his insulting comments, add this to Wenger's incessant patronising of the fans, add this to the Disneyland corporate fuckfest that is the Emirates, add this to the letters banning free speech on banners, add this to nazi stewards, add this to the AKB mongs who have become a spasticated cult, add this to Gazidis abusing our intelligence, add this to Denilson, Diaby, etc all disrespecting the shirt with insulting disgusting 'performances', add this to the manager dismissing the fans and talking about stupid wages in football then negotiating a 6.5 mil a year scam for himself, add this to the 'Custodians' of the club who were supposed to never sell out and then did anyways to some shifty handbar tached cock-smoking masturbator.....

HOW CAN ANY OF YOU CONTINUE TO PAY THIS DISGUSTING CLUB AUTOCRACY MONEY TO FILL THEIR POCKETS AND FILL THAT SHIT-HOLE!

JUST STOP GOING. CLASSLESS CLUB I NO LONGER KNOW.

Growing up in rural Ireland in the seventies supporting Arsenal was not easy..my friends all followed Liverpool or Leeds and I was constantly the butt ogf their jibes about Arsenal. My favourite line of reply was that Arsenal as a Club had more tradition, history and CLASS than all other clubs put together. Glad I don't have to explain this one to them. Disgrace, pity the stewards wouldn't put the same handbrake on that our glorious Manager speaks of.

I'll say it then.

The son is her carer right? But when she feels sick he leaves her to go off on her own to the car and get physically sick and stays watching the match.

What kind of carer is he?

Well played Arsenal.

If this really was just that occasion then it's ridiculous. Different story if she was touting the ticket out down the pub or something though..

This above, the club these days makes me sick, I can't stand what they've become.
