Marseille away - Match and Travel Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Be careful out there lads, stay together and keep your eyes open. The local marseille fans are okay, but the north African yoof are knifing little *word censored* and they'll be out looking for you.

Flying to Nice on the day of the game and then training it to Marseille from there.

We'll stand out....but so will they 8) !

I'm sure it'll be fine around the old port, but I'm glad that we'll be travelling to and from there and the ground (shed!) by metro - probably along with a couple of hundred other gooners. Not sure I'd want to be walking back to a car on my tod.

All the credit if you think it is good. :barscarf:

The Novotel looks the business.....but I know exactly where to direct the complaints if it turns out to be shite. Probably about 3x times the price of n7gooner's Premiere Classe!

PS I notice that Marseille have only won 1 of their 10 league games this season..... !

I can see us getting turned over out there in France. They are no mugs- they beat Dortmund 3-0.

2-0 to Marseille is my prediction

I'd take a draw. And none of our lot getting stabbed.

I'd settle for a couple of superficial stab wounds if it guaranteed a win!
