Why do so many leave the ground early when the game is hanging in the balance?
All those seats have been empty all game mate!
I thought that was a fairly solid performance
Solid in what way exactly?
We didn't create many clear cut chances despite having huge possession yet again
We didn't defend that well, Sunderland should have scored at least one more

We scraped a win against one of the worst PL sides, not encouraging at all. But a win is a win.

I just think our confidence is fucked at the moment so like you say, a win is a win. Just got to get on some sort of run though and that doesn't feel likely at the moment

Thank god for Van Perise. At times today he was pure class. Dunno what we'd do if we lose him.

Off topic but just seen this on BBC "We're playing like Barca. Who needs Xavi and Iniesta when you have Parker and Modric!"

Can always rely on deluded spurs fans to cheer me up

Barca eh? Not according to "Paul F" on the BBC;

"Is that the worst 45 minutes football Spurs have been involved in since George Graham was boss? Surely neither team can play worse than that. Garbage."

Henry Norris 1913 wrote:what a horrible match that was. our defence was atrocious , jenkinson is obviously not a full back but a RM, and the sunderland equaliser was a joke, cattermole dived to win that free kick, though don't expect any mention on sky.As for RVP, he is absolute genius, class throughout the game . Rosicky played well for the first time in about 3 years.

Relieved but the ref could easily have given a pen to sunderland at the end, though they deserved FA after that cattermole dive. What a battle that was.
Didn't the ref give it for handball? :?

If Theo Walnut had no pace he'd be in my local McDonald's fact!

By the way Mertesacker is a top man. Was last off the pitch after applauding all four stands. Well played BFG! Future captain.

Love the way Walcott jumped on this back as they were leaving the pitch, punching the air - as if we'd won 5 nil. It all smacked of "please like me even though I am totally and utterly useless". He's an embarrassment and should never have remained on the pitch. Roll on the day when he leaves the Club.

Was gonna mention this, a nice touch. I know not everybody is convinced by him, but I like the guy. Seems like a top bloke.

FFS i'm not trying to defend the way he plays, but Theo has a great attitude.
More players need to show appreciation to the fans who've paid their hard earned money to watch them.
Great goals from v.Persie
