I reckon you will only get stick from uninformed JCL AKB spackers tbh. Up to this year (we still had Nasri and Fabrgas) I wouldn't have accepted they were a better team man for man, but I think they are (for the first time in 20 years or more) probably on at least a par with us and possibly better.
It's stomach turning to think this is where we currently are but I honestly believe this current Arsenal squad and it's Lost-The-Plot "manager" will struggle to finish higher than the scum.
This is Wenger's fault.
And that is unforgivable.

you have been obviously paying too much attention to the media.
so far this season Spurs have had a 1-5 home defeat, already been knocked out of the Carling Cup and struggled to beat Shamrock Rovers at home. Then on Sunday they let a lead slip twice against Newcastle.
you see its not just us who struggles up there!
In fully fit first teams I would put in Bale and Van der Vaart. Other than that Arsenal players are better in every position.
The fact we lost in the NLD is a red hering - it is where we finish in May that is important. For FIFTEEEN years we have had St Totteringham Day under Wenger and I would bet you any money we will have it again this season

I can see some justifiable debate about the relative merits of the two squads but I can't agree that there's a 'country mile' between them.
For me, only Modric, Parker and Monkey-Boy would be certain starters in a combined eleven.
This doesn't mean that I think our squad is good, just that the Scum's is mediocre as well.

Go figure.
In attack, we have the best individual striker in RVP, but Spuds have a much MUCH stronger collection of attackers: Adebayor, Defoe, Pavlyuchenko.
As an example, at Newcastle on Sunday Redknapp thrw on Defoe. He scored a ridiculous goal within 10 minutes of coming on.
At Arsenal, despite desperately chasing games, Chamakh still does not feature. Chamakh has scored 2 league goals in a year. TWO.
The keeper scenrio is about even. Chesney's reputation is growing but Friedel is far more proven/reliable.

Spurs sticking 4 past Liverpool was a freak result. The Spurs game the other week was fairly even (unlike the Man U game). Spurs form is better than ours at the moment, but I'd rather be an Arsenal fan at the end of the season.

Also your Barcelona example: mate have you not heard! Every time Wenger's inadequacies are brought up, some mug says 'OH BUT WE BEAT BARCELONA' as mitigation. So yaaaah. Apparently we are a great side for beating Barca!!! (in a tie we lost).
