Marseille away - Match and Travel Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Depends which forecast you look at. I've found one that says nil chance of rain through to Friday :barscarf: !

Just wondering whether to pack the speedo's for a dip in the med on Thursday. The water should be quite warm at this time of year!

If the sea is too cold then we might be "forced" to use the roof top pool back at the hotel...... 8) !

Are you going to use the "seas cold" routine if the speedo's are looking a tad shrivelled??

Should be a thriller, Marseille in 15th place with 9 points from 10 games in french league and us with 10 points from 8.

Enjoying a cold (not ice cold unfortunately!) corona or 3 in the lounge at stansted. Only an hour away from the flight. This is the life! Bit disappointed that no bacon sarnies....oh well. Another beer anyone....?

Think this might be a draw.

1-1 with us going 1 down

Tonight's result doesn't matter.

What matters is that we've been in the CL for the past 15 years.

Marseille are the best team in our group , already beaten olympiakos away and comfortably breezed past Dortmund at home . This will not be our first away win the CL proper this season , that will have to wait until olympiakos , which won't be easy either.

Would like to see Arteta start, and the OX too. Walnutt , RVP and Gerv in attack and hopefully Gibbs at full back instead of Jenks who is a liable , especially away from home.
