could Jenkinson be the new Gareth Bale, don't laugh, here me out - Bale was signed from Southampton, just like Charlton a Championship side
he was a left back by trade, and was so woeful when he joined tottenham that redknapp was going to loan him out to Forest - but then got pushed to left midfield and has been excellent
could Jenkinson go on to be a top right sided midfielder for us - he seems happier charging forward, instead of defending
or am i dreaming

Seems to be the only arsenal player that can cross a decent ball.Rosie_titters wrote:could Jenkinson be the new Gareth Bale, don't laugh, here me out - Bale was signed from Southampton, just like Charlton a Championship side

This team looks a bit tired. Don't know why we're replaying so many of the guys from the Sunderland game.
Arshavin has got to get into this game. Walcott ain't doing shit from the right, little creativity from Arteta and Song right now, Rosicky is pretty much nonexistant.
Ox-Cham should have started.

Playing RVP alone up front in a 4-5-1 says it all for me. It's a joke 'tactic' and simply doesn't work. He is isolated and good as he is, not the quickest. In matches like this, Wally should be up top with RVP in a free number 10 role. That way Wally can get balls over the top to latch onto. Marseille are playing a VERY high line at times, this was made for Wally to run past.
But oh no, not Inspector Fuckwit Wenger...
Arsenal are actually boring as fuck to watch now Fabregas has left. I genuinely find Fulham more entertaining to watch. Difference being of course that a Fulham season ticket costs about £350. Whereas the cheapest Arsenal one is about £980. Hilarious.

Absolutely, the 4-5-1 is ridiculous. We don't have the players to play the system. Arshavin is isolated on the left, Walcott the same on the right, neither want to track back, leaving our full backs exposed again and again. RVP is isolated up top with nobody to play off. It's fucking gash.Babatunde wrote:Playing RVP alone up front in a 4-5-1 says it all for me. It's a joke 'tactic' and simply doesn't work. He is isolated and good as he is, not the quickest.
