As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
It's not bad when our 10 men beat their 11. I don't classify Arshavin as being on the pitch. He is a piece of shit who does not give one fuck about playing for The Arsenal and should be sent packing on a free if necessary.
My opinion of Rosicky was poor but his last few games he has been putting himself about and has shown touches of the player he was.
All in all i'm fairly happy with tonights performance,a win is a win

I agree about Arshavin he's a lazy useless tosser! I am still very negative about Rosicky, I just cant warm to him, cokehead! :/
I thought we were fucking terrible, our passing was absolute shit, Walcott is a useless waste of space, Arseoleshavin is a useless waste of space, the whole fucking team are painful to watch.
i must say that i'm happy even though the game was very dull. it's a 1-nil victory away from home, and lord i love those last minute winners, that's what football is all about
i'm pessimistic about this season but it's great to see a good old fashioned win for The Arsenal. more of those please!

Wow how shit were Arsenal! Yeah sure 1-0 is a decent score, especially when playing with the statue Arteta, the useless Jenkinson and Alex Thong. And Arshavin.
But the way some people are going on fails to take into account the fact that Arsenal only just managed to scrape past a Marseille team with one domestic win in TEN!!! The same people who moan about Arsenal not being able to compete financially will also overlook that OM have a wage bill under £30 million! That would be a QUARTER of Arsenal's then...
And yet...there is an element of gloating.
A win is good yes. A clean sheet is good too yes.
But the fundamental point is such: were Arsenal convincing? Do they look like a team with a remote chance of competing in the CL against the elite? Answer: NO CHANCE.
Arsenal are incredibly poor, they were abysmal tonight. Pedestrian, tactically retarded and slower than constipation. Arteta is a Spanish Denilson (oooh but check his stats!) and as for Thong...
Good win but no bus parades from me. We're way richer than that club and scraping past them is nothing to brag about.

That was the mistake wenger made last year thinking we had qualified for the knockout stages and in our last 2 away games he rested players and we lost and ended up playing barca for the second season running.Lets play the remainder of our group games b4 you start making statements
like we should win the group
I don't see that happen again. Last year we had 2 away games to go at this point, now we only play Olympiakos away. Okay, last time we lost there, but if we just win our two remaining home games we finish 1st.

Its not so much whether the games are home or away but im always of the mind that you play your best/ strongest team till you have defintely guaranteed you have qualified for next round
I don't agree about Arteta, but Babatunde isn't going to call me a *word censored* for saying I think he may turn out to be a decent signing. Is he? ;)
Does it make me a Wenger apologist? No, it doesn't, but USMarty would call you a board apologist for saying even the slightest point against him.
Two truly terrible teams slogging out, offering nothing in the way of quality attacking play, but fuck that was great when Ramsey planted that in! Tumbled about 4 rows down & almost broke a leg

Just enjoy a win for gods sake, it wasn't pretty, it wasn't a footballing masterclass but can you not even enjoy a winner in stoppage time...when those go in, for me that is what supporting a football team is all about.
