Dont panic everyone Taylor is feeling much better!!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm so pleased that poor Martin is feeling better now. For a while there i was worried that he may never play football again. Such good news that he can play following the harrowing tackle by Eduardo's shin on his studs

I've long given up on the British media. Talksport is a load of bollocks, the Beeb is full of biased pundits with their own publicity high on the agenda. And dont get me started on the print media.

I don't really care either way. I can understand that he feels a bit shit. I don't think he meant to do that much harm. I believe he wanted to impose himself early on to unsettle Eduardo. I used to do similar when I played. I was a left back and at first opportunity I used to put the forwards on their arses. It gives you the upper hand because the forward is not thinking about what to do, they are thinking about where you are.
I hope Taylor gets his head round what he did and improves as a player as a result of it. I don't think there is much point in malice. It only makes you feel worse. I do admit though, when this first happened I wanted him hung, drawn and quartered. That was the heat of the moment and I've calmed down a little now.

I feel the same way,Spud.
It's a part of our game (unfortunately) that defenders go in hard during the first few minutes of a game. Just to let the opposition know "you are there".
Defenders know they will not get booked for the first bad tackle.
It's not right though.

OOPS!
I called you Spud, instead of Masher.
Sorry. No insult intended.
