Stoke City - Home - Match Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

and why does noone get on to the ref about the amount of time delap takes? if you were winning by one goal in the last minute and tried taking that long over a throw you'd be booked every time

Long throws dealt with well by Per but stupid to concede a goal from a free kick like that. Annoying thing is we saw flashes of the old zip coming into our play, but we dropped off after we scored.

Still feel we can beat these, but they are a tough side to break down.

it shouldn't, but it always does. like my other point about the long throws. you can get away with things depending on when you do them. like if you're keeping the ball in the corner flag at the end of a tight game, the opposition can basically kick the shit out of the backs of your ankles and more often than not you won't get a free kick

What does Walcott actually bring to the team? Why is he still on the pitch?
