Are Rio's days numbered?
Just heard "Fergies" post match interview in which he said that he expected players like Ferdinand and Evra,(with their experience),to contain the game, keep the ball, and try and assert some control instead of allowing the team to continue to attack, thereby leaving themselves open.
He did not look impressed, and we all know how ruthless he can be!!!

He didnt have a good game, and yes he lacks the sharpness that made him a world class defender. Least he knows what its like to play with a daft CB like Evans.
Evra has been sliding since he was made captain for france, his head got too big and he has lost his focus.
City showed maturity and a ruthless streak that comes from mancini. They were great. A very well balanced team.

Yes....and no.1989 wrote:He's finished. Can't believe some on here wanted us to sign him. He would be Silvestre MKII.
Silvestre was a neverhasbeen who had gone downhill by the time we'd signed him. At least Ferdinand is a hasbeen!
The thing that really lets United down at the moment is their defence. Without slope lip and Vidic they conceded 2 goals against us FFS, and it would have been 3 if we'd scored the penalty! And I don't think that Vidic is the player he was 2-3 years ago!

Think we were very unlucky to have played United when we did.... I know we haven't turned into the Invincibles but we do look a little less fragile and their confidence has taken some knocks i.e. only 1 win in last 4 league games!
