THE ARSENAL CAPTAINCY: THE ABUSE CONTINUES

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

good win today against an strong Stoke side
Yeah well strong that Stoke side.
Any team that gets butt-pumped 4-0 by Steve Bruce's Sunderland away from home has gotta be strong as an ox!

Listen please stop trying to pigeon hole me as someone dissatisfied after today cos I am well pleased that (a) we won and (b) against those scummy *word censored* Tbh I have yet to see any of the match action so I havent passed any comments re any player performances, tactical decisions ( :coffeespit: ) or anything like that so I have only posted on a thread that I feel qualified to comment on.....I dont rate song, I wouldnt want him in my team and it embarasses me that he was made captain and if that opinion causes distress to some then tough shit

PS Wozza I apologise if I mis-understood what you meant re stoke - I assume you meant that they were a good team but you meant a physically strong team so apologies on my behalf

It's really annoying when people have an opinion you don't agree with, and it's impossible to articulate an alternate isn't it? Best to do the intelligent thing and just call them 'WUM' since you don't agree with the point made.

I couldn't give a shit if you don't like it, I'm entitled to my opinion and I will repeat and echo what Augie said: Alex Thong isn't good enough for Arsenal, he shouldn't be in the first 11 let alone under consideration for captain. That a player as dozy and useless as him can captain a great club like Arsenal is an embarrassment. There. Said it. Don't like it? Tough cookies.

Babatunde doesn't try to wind people up like Red Member does, he just has forceful opinions and is very combative, Red Member actively trolls

I shall remind those of you with short memories that Alex Thong was shocking in Marseille and has been one of our biggest Liabilities this season.

Have you been to watch Arsenal this season? Or ever? Song has been superb since he came back from suspension, and was outstanding in Marseille.

This is the first time I've replied to any of your threads as you seem to be a complete fuckwit of the very lowest order, but this really is utter shite.

As it happens I agree that Song shouldn't have been Captain, but your reasoning as quoted above is pure nonsense.

aw inherited ta5, got lucky with pv4 and hasn't had a clue about what "captain material" entails ever since. truth is that he couldn't handle the strong character of a real captain which is why neither adams nor vieira returned after retiring

I was going to write a more lucid response to your bilous vitriol but then realised you had to go pick your IQ out of the dustbin first.

I've watched more Arsenal matches than you've sucked dangly balls, so get yourfacts straight first sunshine. Song 'outstanding' in Marseille?
Says a lot about your knowledge of footie to me. The same muppet who wihtin three minutes had gotten himself booked and conceded a dangerous free-kick due to complete lack of focus. The same moron who tried to dribble out of his box with two men on him.

Following on from that, this would be the same Song 100% at fault for the Blackburn own-goal, trying to hip the ball back to his keeper instead of getting side-on. The same Song who was completely unaware of tracking his runner in any way, shape or form against the Spuds when Van der Vaart started his original run. The same Song who was given an absolute lesson in the middle of the park as we LOST a NLD to the Spuds AGAIN.

I won't go on. Fuckwit? I'm surprised you could spell the word you gorbellied toss-pot.

Go watch some football, read a book, get an education. You're retarded.

Should of been Ramsey, Chesney or Arteta who were captain today. But fuck it we won and we're starting to show glimpses of form.

Surely a guy who has 76 international caps should be captain ahead of Song.
What, a player who has only just joined us? Has only known his team mates for a few weeks? Hasn't yet proved himself as an Arsenal player (although I think he will be great for us wink:)?
And Song has?
