easy guys,
Do any of you guys have an e-book reader. (Not the Kindle) but ome that will allow DRM e-pub file and one that will allow books to be borrowed from the council library and read on the device.
I bought a BeBook One, doesnt work, Kindles dont work so am not wanting to waste the cash on what should be an easy purchase for the wife.
so if any of you guys have one can you let me know which ones you have,
cheers

an obvious solution, that i did try ...
me:" what ebook reader would i need to read epub books? "
librarian: "ebook reader ???"
at that point its not worth it ..
its a council run library so i wouldn't expect some form of knowledge base and inquiring further probably would have meant raising a purchase order here and there, budget discussion, someone getting fired, closing the library and opening a tesco before i got an "i don't know but we will do our best to find out" response.
plus i was hoping some folk on here had readers and would personally recommend them. Although i do realise that reading and folk on here do not go well together, but you never know there are maybe some intelligent people on here, like me.

Proper books rule!
to some extent i agree, but then to what extent would yo udisagree that this forum should be in paper format and any postings should be done in hand using traditional courier services and posted in hard copy in town halls once a month.. Today i have bought a whole book made from paper, the ebook is for the wife looking after the next gen genius at home and needs to be able to pocket it at leisure.
plus real books burn better
