Violence and a last gasp equaliser

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If a fight broke out and my mate was getting smashed up i would like to think i would step in and help out.

How does that make me a *word censored*?

Violence has no place in football. It dont really happen at Arsenal anymore. This is a good thing, all I have seen in terms of trouble over the last couple of seasons, is a bunch of young Arsenal fans taking the piss having a laugh then the overaged away fans football factory watchers overeact and wanna start trouble. The same thing happened against spuds in the home leg of the carling cup. Overaged coke heads shouting and singing looking around for trouble and it aint there anymore. I like to think Arsenal have grown out of all that shite, cause if we hadnt I wouldnt go.

No one likes violence i think thats safe to say but to blandly label people a *word censored* without making any explaination is plain stupid. Would you classify people who help their friends or defend themselves in that bracket if they need to be violent to do so or are you one of these twats who when we walked around at school said if someone hits you just walk away.

Being violent at footall matches does not make you big or clever. If you have to defend yourself or friends then fair enough, but you do the minimum you need to in order to be safe. At the first opportunity you get you should take yourself out of the situation.

Was this before or after the game? I'm assuming after and a result of the tasteless Eduardo chants.

As for those talking about what they'll do at Villa next year etc you're on the wrong forum guys.

Arenal have grown out of it, been to many pubs before and after the game and all the gooners are of the same opinion. We have grown out of it, none of us would watch another gooner get a kicking but we go to watch footy, fuck all that running around the streets and getting nicked bollocks. Arsenal have class.
Been to nearlly ever home game this season and a few away and the only games its gone sour were manure spuds and villa.
