New stuff at the grove this December

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

New stuff at the grove this December

Post by Bangkokgooner »

Heard it from Gazidis at the AGM that it will be unveiled this December. Does anybody know what it is? A new manager?

It'll be another thing to do with the Arsenalisation efforts.

To be fair, they have done some nice work at the Em's, especially bringing back our clock. Hopefully it's something neat.

Unless it's a couple of genuine world class players we failed to announce a while back can't say I'm particularly bothered!

As far as I am concerned there is nothing, and I mean nothing, they can do that will impress me unless it is a new manager coming in plus 2 or 3 proven quality players :x Even if the *word censored* offered me a full refund on my season ticket it would not compensate for the shit that is going on in our club nowadays

I suppose it will be something to do with the 125th anniversary although why there is so much fuss of such a non event is beyond me. I don't recall this much fuss for the 100th anniversary!

I dug out an old programme from 1986 the other night which commemorated that.Instead of worrying about off the field crap I see that the team had made sure we celebrated in style - 5 points clear at the top of the league at Christmas and just 10 goals conceeded in the first 20 league matches that season
