Are we actually getting any better or is merely because we have had more luck/ worse opposition?

I personally havent seen a real improvement in the displays we've put out. A few players have upped their games a little bit but I woudlnt say that the team as a whole is performing a great deal better.
RVP is head and shoulders above any player in the current first XI and he has bailed us out of both the Stoke and Sunderland games where draws would have sent us even further into the abyss.

Perhaps I am missing something here but I still feel the hairs stand up on the back of my neck when we pass it along the backline or defend set pieces. I also feel my blood pressure rise whenever Walcott puts in his latest joke of a cross or runs it out of play. These things for me havent changed and I suspect my theory will be proved when we play the Chavs this weekend.

Don't worry mate. I suspect we shall be finding out tomorrow at the Fridge if Arsenal are actually a competent team or not. It's one thing to get all euphoric about scraping past Swansea, Shrewsbury, Stoke and Marseille - quite another to go to Stamford Bridge and perform properly.
So we'll find out tomorrow if Arsenal are out of their depth or not....

we are better than them in so many ways, we will win the game

Wenger will have a surprise for Chelsea. Arsenal to win.

With the win agains Bolton, i beleive we can win at stamfordbridge.

No Drogba and no Bosingwa. We'll crush them 4 - 0 !!!

Our armour is loaded we blowin down the bridge. +ive Gunners a takin the points.

yes we are playing better compared to the start of the season. But when we do concede the confidence goes like water down the plug hole.

Dont think its unsual to assume the team will play better as certain players get used to each other, mertesacker, arteta.

Not to mention we're in a post cesc era, and the responsibility to create chances must be shared. RVP is finding those through balls dont come so quick anymore.

Chelsea will test our defensive coaching. Will we concede our customary 40+ minute goal in the first half like we've done against any team witha a decent attack.

Facebook?? You might as well nip down to Broadmoor and get a few quotes from there. Facebook is like a lunatic asylum without bars - perfect for Gazidis cos he knows that it's full of numpties that will believe (and buy) anything. And lets face it, all Gazidis cares about is money!

Yeah because they were so lucky that the ref bent over and let them score 8 against us.

Theres being lucky and theres papering over the cracks. Im not denying that they get a lot of luck BUT more often they not back it up with trophies and success.
The difference is that we ALL know that this team is going to fold at some point I think its delusional to believe that this team are anything other than a bunch of bottlers and the sooner the shit hits the fan the better as far as Im concerned so that we can rebuild.
