EARLY LEAVERS!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Apparently, this pic was taken at 9.45 AM for a mid-day kick off.

Personally I think they're a bit TOO eager! ImageImage

Something should be done about these fairweather 'FANS'.

THEY ARE GIVING US A BAD NAME Image

Unfortunately it's not just the prawn sandwich eaters. All over the stadium we have early leavers. Two guys next to me left with 6 minutes, 43 seconds left on the clock on the big screen - plus injury time (they arrived five minutes late as well).
that sandwich looks fuckin lovely hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm prawn sandwich

Do these fcuking daytrippers want Arsenal to win the title or what.So what if it was a shit game and we didn"t play well. You support your team through thick and thin. These crunts make us look a fcuking embarassment.20,000 empty seats at the end.

Stay till the end or dont come at all.

Its not just the prawn sandwich brigade. The 2 guys sitting next to me left with 10 minutes to go. Both had rather prominent tattoos and seemed to think we had a player called C*nt.

it was bloody frustrating but that feeling at the end when Nick scored was just unbeleivable. My (12yo) son was blubbing his eyes out with relief. First time hes cried since the 2001 FA Cup Final    :D

TBH if your stupid enough to leave in those circumstances you don't deserve the ticket.

The result of the Arsenal Fancy Dress: First prize is shared by 20,000 fans who turned into plastic seats at 4.40pm on saturday.

We were losing 1-0 the team needed everyone to back them yet the early leavers turned their backs on their own team.Do these fans deserve a team at the top of the league?

its a disgrace, im glad these johnny come lately's missed the goal, i can't understand what the rush is in leaving early.rather that chanting to the away fans we can see you sneaking out, we should start up on our own fans, make em feel bad for going early doors

also were a fair few *word censored* booing diaby just before and when he was going off, now il admit that it wasnt his best game, but the lad had just come back from injury and is playing out of position....they should be embarrassed with themselves

What can we do about it though. I mean obviously you can let people know they're out of order as and when you see them doing it but can't we do some pre-match flyering around the stadium to point out that the game's not over until the final whistle and that you should applaud the team off the field for every game, even when we lose. Also point out that there are people who can't get a ticket so people shouldn't take their one for granted. Granted most people will probably just chuck the flyer on the floor but at least we're doing something about it other than talking about it on here.

What do people think? We could also get onto the club to do some kind of announcement to urge people to stay until the end. Worth a try.

Let me start by saying I stay till the end EVERY game I go to. But... It would be a lot better if people could use the local tube stations after the game. After a night game I don't get home till about 01.00 cos I have to walk all the way the Highbury & Islington tube/train station to get back to my car. Why not open Arsenal, Hollaway Rd after the game? That would encourage people to stay cos they can get home quicker. It's not an excuses to leave early but it don't help.

fair play in doing so, i understand fully on night games, but i really don't understand it on sat 3pm games, especially with the nature of the game and how everyone should of been getting behind arsenal, what must the players think when they see the so called fans giving up on em and going

When will these wankers learn?? We've scored so many injury time goals this season in a half empty ground and still they leave like sheep with 10 minutes to go. How have we acquired so many wankers at our club??
